Chapter 15 Count On Me

Bruno 'P.O.V'

I walked in there and saw Clarissa on the floor whipping her tears away with her hand, she stopped and looked up "Bruno go wait outside. I don't want you to see me" she whispers covering her face with her jacket. I bend down and hugged Clarissa "Look I your beautiful, you don't need to cover anything" I say proudly and she looks at me still covering her face with her sleeve, I got her sleeve and moved it away looking at her red eyes from all the crying

I look deep in her eyes, she's scared, of being made fun of "look you could always count on me I'm always be here with you no matter what--" I got cut off cause she hugged me so tight and I heard and yell "Peter! Get out!!" the teacher yells at me. I get up and Clarissa is right next to me not letting go of my arm, I hold her tight

"Peter! What do you think, you where doing in the girls restroom!" The principle yells at me and then waiting for an answer. I look at Clarissa "He was helping and he protected me from a bully!" she says "oh and who's that" the principle says. I look at Clarissa and nod with answer no "never mind" she says I look at the principle and she has the meanest face on.

"Bruno you have never learned a lesson. And that you will no be able go to prom." She says "WHAT!?" I scream and look at her and she makes a face a leave face so I did. I walked out furious and heard Clarissa foot steps and her calling my name which I ignored. She grabbed my wrist "Bruno why are you so m-" I cut her off "all I do for a girl is failure, I don't fucking know why girls always use me for everything! So I quiet being mister nice guy!! Now fuck off!" I yelled at her and she let go and ran away.

One minute after I've noticed what I've done. I ran everybody was out of class roaming the halls so I pushed everybody out of my way. My eyes looked at Clarissa sitting there hugging her knees crying. Made my heart brake. I sat near her "I'm sorry. I, I been through a l-" I got cut off "you just got kicked out of prom and your mad, you have no idea how my life is, and your saying you've been through a lot. Well I'll been more than you have and going to prom is nothing IT'S JUST A FUCKIN DANCE!!" she yells I lose my temper "ITS NOT JUST A FUCKING DANCE. It's a night to remember, the one good feeling I always want is with my date and just there taking a good picture of each other. I'm to selfish and I'm sorry you've been a lot of hue problems but this doesn't mean I'm not going to talk to you cause your my friend. And I can count on you but surely you can't count on me" I say

She hugs me and cries on my shoulder making me huge her tight so she'll feel better. But it won't work. "Come to my house I did something for you" I say she looked at me "where skipping" she says "like we never ditched" I say she smiles and giggles.

We where at my room and I got my guitar ready and Clarissa was looking at me and I started playing and sang "If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea, I'll sell the world to find you" I sang and she smiled. I was done and she hugged me
