I stood up my head still bowed down looking at the floor.
"You may lift your head Misaki"
My father said I lifted my head and tried to avoid eye contact
"Your mother and I are going to Sweden for an important meeting this weekend. Yue and Haruto will be here later this evening."
Yue and Haruto were my older brother and sister they were also my best friends but they had jobs and moved out of the house so I didn't get to see them that often. My dad was the head of a very successful business tycoon. My father was a very intimidating man.

"Ok father"
I said bowing my head before he left the room. My father and I havent always been close but he just finds it hard to show affection. But my mother has always been my best friend. I grabbed my bag and started to walk up the stairs
"Cmon cujo"
I said Cujo running up the stairs. I went into my room and plopped on the bed Cujo laying down next to me

My mother came into the room a platter of cookies with her.
"Momma!"
I said getting up from the bed giving her a tight hug
"Your gonna make me drop the cookies Misi"
She said walking over to the bedside table and placing the platter down
"Did your father tell you about the Sweden meeting?"
She said sitting down on the bed me laying down next to her my head in her lap. She played with my hair
"Yeah. You guys are barely home I know Yue and Haru will be here but I just want my parents."
I said a frown on my face
"I know. But you can hang out with those volley ball boys and Kiyoko!"
She said a smile on her face. I quickly sat up
"VOLLEY BALL BOYS?!"
I yelled
"Yeah Auntie Hitoka (Kiyoko's mom) told me all about how one of them made you blush"
I buried my face into Cujo and groaned
"Honey you can always come to me for boy talk and"
She said before I cut her off
"Mom I haven't liked anyone since Yuji. I'm gonna talk to Kiyoko for a bit"
I said picking up my phone and a cookie in my other hand letting Cujo take a bite.
"Ok honey Yue and Haru will be here soon"
She said getting up and giving me a kiss on the forehead
"I love you sweetie bye bye"
She said walking towards the door
"Love you too momma"
I said as she closed the door.I dialed Kiyoko and gave her a piece of my mind.. sorta
"Do you wanna come over and study tomorrow afternoon"
I asked
"It's just me Haru, and Yue here my parents went to Sweden."
I said laying upside down on the bed my feet in the air.
"Sure! But I'll be late I have to go to practice"
She replied
"Ok I'll send Haruto with the limo when you're done"
I said
"Kk I gotta go see you tomorrow!"
She said before hanging up the phone. I noticed that Cujo had fallen asleep so I put the blanket over him and quietly walked downstairs to the kitchen.
"YUE"
I said running over to her and giving her a tight hug. I missed you.
"Ok ok I missed you too now let me put the chicken in the oven"
She said laughing and patting me on the head
"Sorry Yue. Is Haruto coming in for dinner?"
I said sitting on the stool in front of the kitchen island

Haruto and Yue ^
I peeled a banana as Haruto walked into the kitchen putting his keys on the counter. He walked behind me and gave me a kiss on the head rubbing my shoulders and walking over to Yue giving her a hug. Haruto and Yue weren't too old they were in their early 20s.
"How was you day Haru?"
I asked him taking a bite of a banana.
"It was good I had to take the Huracan to the shop."
He said peeking at the chicken through the oven door
"The black one?"
I asked taking another bite of the banana
"Yup it had a flat"
He said sitting on the stool next to me. The oven dinged and Yue took the chicken out.
"Dinner's ready!"
I helped her set the table placing a platter of vegetables a platter of rice, and a platter of chicken on the table. We bowed our heads in prayer and started to eat. I helped Yue put the dishes in the sink and she washed them Haru drying them. I said goodnight to them both and went into my room. Cujo must've went into the backyard through the doggy door as he was no longer in my room. I went into the bathroom and took a bubble bath. I never really had any friends. I mean I had the delinquents but we never really hung out outside of school. We were all from renowned families all making trouble for the same reason. Attention. I got out of the bath and put on my PJs. I laid down and got under the covers. As I looked out my windows and to the thousands of stars. I could only think about the boy from volleyball practice... wait what was his name. SHIT. I had a crush on him and I didn't even know his name.
