There was a sudden boom of noise coming from each room, alarming everyone awake. Except for Corpse who had a hard time sleeping last night. A speaker was in each room, with a familiar voice speaking through it.

Mr.Markiplier: Rise and Shine!! You're first official day starts! Get up and dressed as I explain your duties after you all had breakfast!

Corspe's POV:

After the sudden announcement, I groaned from staying up most of the night. I ran a hand through my hair followed with a sigh, "great...3 hours of sleep isn't desirable but manageable" I tiredly muttered to myself. But then I remembered, Sykkuno...such a shy character-- which made me chuckle with a slight smile. I rubbed my eyes before getting out of bed to put on my black space suit and helmet. Hmm, it seems I'm not the only one who likes to be faceless... Dream, was it? My thoughts were interrupted when I heard everyone else already heading out their rooms and saying good morning to one another--even though there was technically no actual time in space. "I guess that's my que--" I mumble as I grabbed my ipad and ID card. Once I opened the door I was faced with a very startled and flustered Sykkuno. "A-ah! Hi mr.corpse-- I just wanted to make sure you're were up, y-yeah!" He fidgets alot while his eyes tried to avoid contact, his face was a light pink. Huh..that's cute--I mean, I can compliment him--right? "Hey Sykkuno" I simply replied back, I received a smile which made me happy to see he was happy. "Uhm-" He nervously laughs "Do ya wanna eat breakfast together??" Ah fuck..I usually don't eat with people around, but, how can I reject him? Think, lay him down gently. "I'm not hungry" I mumbled. That wasnt gentle at all!! "Oh okay. I won't bother ya then." Sykkuno looked a little hurt which made my heart hurt a slight, I dont understand why but it was like putting down a puppy. "See ya around then!" He perked up once again before giving me a small smile and waving goodbye to join the others. You're an idiot corpse, this was an opportunity to make friends. But I don't think they would like me anyway. I slightly waved him goodbye before I look down at my ipad to open up the map, "I wasn't finish exploring yet--"

Sykkuno's POV:

I felt proud that I managed to ask Corpse but also upset that he didn't want to join me for breakfast, I can't really make him though. It's his decision. "Sykkuno! Over here bud!" Toast waved over at the guy's table. "I'll be right there after!!" I waved him back while grabbing a plate for myself. Pancakes with strawberry jam and whipped cream doesn't sound bad at all.  Until I hear my name being called again, I looked over at it was Lily who shouted "Sykkuno! Come eat with us!" As the other girls and james were giggling and also telling me to join them for breakfast. Oh no- "Hey- I got him first!" Toast shouts from the other table. What do I do? I dont like to cause a commossion over me! I get very forgetful and anxious. "Wha--huh-?" I looked over at Lily then at Toast. Then Jack or Spedicey stood up "Woah, you guys let him choose! Can't ya see you're getting Sykkuno worked up about it?" Oh thank god- "ah right-" I managed to say "I--"

I ended up eating by myself

After everyone was finished eating, Corpse and Dream made it to the cafeteria after whatever they were doing.

Mr.Markiplier: Why hello again! Remember I mentioned about duties?

Jack replied with "No-" which caused everyone else to laugh or chuckle.

Mr.Markiplier: Alright Alright mr.mclaughing. The ship wont take care of itself, so you all have tasks to complete during the day--

Our iPads got notifications as all of us were sent a list of tasks.

Mr.Markiplier: Don't worry if you weren't able to get them all done, just dont neglect the ship or you wont be able to get back home.

Everyone grew silent and looked at one another with worried or concerned faces.

Mr.Markiplier: *laughing* Oh my god I was kidding-- in a way. But seriously though, get those done before thinking about lounging around. Other than that, have fun with your first day!! Markimoon out!

"Markimoon?" Pewds chuckled out as it was a pretty unusual nickname. Jack laughs afterward "Yeah--but we also have funny names too. Pewbs-" he laughs harder before running away from Pewds who looked like he was gonna kill him for that joke.
I giggled a bit as I was grabbed by both of my arms, "H-huh!?" I turn to look at my right then left. It was Lily and toast. Again!? I thought I had escaped this situation already! "Come Sykkuno!" Lily exclaims with a wide smile. "No he is coming with me!" Toast argued then looked at me "Right sykkuno?"
I couldn't think as I felt pressured to chose between two potential friends. I wanted to escape from them both just to clear my head. That was until I see both of their faces covered by one black hand, I tried my best to look back as I slightly teared up in relief "C-corpse-!"
"He is coming with me..." He said calmly before pushing the other two off me. Of course Lily and Toast argued and complained to corpse until he said, "Like jack mentioned before, look at him-- you're pressuring him into choosing" Toast and Lily looked at me as their expression softened, "wha- no its ok-" I was about to say until Corpse puts and arm infront of me. "Its not.." he mumbled as my heart was beating a little fast then skip a beat when I felt Corpse wipe away my small tears. Unfortunately he was pushed away as Toast and Lily were out bursting with apologizes for their childish behavior. I waved my hands around with a smile "Hey! hey! No worries!!"
After way more apologize they finally decided to leave me alone so they wouldn't bother me again, they said.
I sighed out in relief until remembered, "corpse tha-" I saw he was gone. Ah, right, toast and lily pushed him back so they can apologize. "I'll go find find him and thank him properly!" I beam and nodded to myself "Yeah!" Then head out to go find Corpse.

Corspe's POV:
Holy fucking shit that was close-- I was in admin as I cowardly ran away from sykkuno. "Damn it..." I whispered before looking up and around the admin room. I then quickly slip up my helmet and touch my face, "why am I burning up like this..?" I slapped myself lightly a few times to make me snap out of this wierd trance. "Okay..focus corpse" I told myself and heads to the card swipe which was one of my tasks. I took a deep breath, taking my ID from my pocket. I swiped it in--
Too fast.

Too fast.

Too slow.

Too fast.

Too agressive.

Too gentle.

Bad read my bad.

I continued to struggle there for about like 30 minutes, becoming frustrated as I aggressively card swipe. swipe left, swipe right. It gave me the same answers. Fuck how do you do this shit!? I wanted to shout except I heard footsteps enter the room, my heart fluttered once I heard a cute and genuine giggle. Making my head look up to see Sykkuno, he asked "Do you need any help?" He tilted his head to the side while covering his smile. Why would you ever want to cover a smile? But I snapped out of it and nodded "Yeah--sorry" Sykkuno waved his hands around "Dont apologize!" Then happily walked over to me. Fucking cute--shit. He suddenly takes my hand from behind and guides it towards the correct direction and motion.

"Oh my god- finally" I accidentally say but then I heard Sykkuno laugh, I turn my head as he looked back at my helmet.
God why does someone this pure exist?
