Chapter 2

As Aaron ran through the hallway he saw people being torn to pieces, kids crying as they are torn limb by limb. Aaron was processing everything in a panic  as he followed the crowd down the hallway, but then they were met by a horde of things that started killing everyone. Aaron ducked down and turned around the corner going away from the crowd into an empty hallway but then he saw what looked like the thing that killed his teacher so he ran into a random classroom and went to close the door but 2 of his friends Aidan and Zach ran through the door pushing Aaron back. Another kid went to run into the room but was quickly sucked into a passing crowd mixed of living and things. Zach slammed the door, the 3 took a moment to catch they're breath then "One hell of a Friday am I right?" Aaron said, both Aidan and Zach looked at him disgusted by the fact he could make a joke in this situation. Then they turned around to see the school cop with her gun out pointing it at them while holding her neck. "Y'all need to leave now!" She yelled at them, then blood squirted out of her neck "Ok don't worry we'll leave we didn't know this room was reserved already," Aaron told her, Aidan hit Aaron. "No we need to stay together if we do that we have a better chance of making it," Zach told everyone "Look kid one of those things got a hit on me and if there's anything I've learned from watching The Walking Dead it doesn't end well," the officer said, then dropped to the ground her gun sliding towards them. The 3 boys looked at each other then Aaron picked up the gun "Guns aren't really my thing, Zach?" Zach then took the gun from Aaron. "Yeah I got it," Zach told him, then Aidan nudged Aaron "Shes gone," Zach looked at her body "We should get going now," Aidan told them, then Aaron stopped "Wait are we for real gonna go out there we won't make it, I mean look at the chick that had a gun," Aaron pointed out. "He's got a point Zach," Aidan agreed, Zach looked out the window "Well if we stay here she turns into a thing and we all die." Zach told them "We could just put some shelves on her right?" Aidan said. Aaron then realized that Creed is at his school still which is only about a mile away. "Guys we gotta go!" Aaron said then pacing by the door "Wait why?" Aidan asked. Zach then dropped his jaw "Nathan!" Zach yelled, then he ran off through the hallway. "What the actual fuck was that!" Aidan said "Our only guy with any sort of weapon just made a B line to the back door!" Aaron looked at the officer who was starting to get up "Aidan we need to go now look," Aaron told him then the 2 backed up as she started growling and dripping blood.
