"Ok, good job everyone," San stated, looking at the group of students that he had been teaching, "Remember to practice these for next week so I can see if you are ready for your next belts. Have a good week everyone." He watched as everyone had finished their class put their shoes on and begin to make their way out of the martial arts school. He always liked teaching martial arts to people, regardless of the age of the student. In every class that he had, there were a variety of people of different ages such as children, teenagers, young adults and sometimes full grown adults. Even sometimes, he would be teaching foreigners if they were moving to Korea or if they were on a trip/vacation.
"San, when is your next class?" Haechan asked. San looked over at the clock that was on the wall.
"In about an hour," San answered.
"Ok," Haechan responded, "You are free to have small break now if you like."
"Thank you, sir," San thanked, going to the staff room. In the staff room, every staff member kept their bags and other personal belongings inside their assigned locker. He opened his assigned locker and got his phone out of it, closing his locker afterward as he felt like he didn't need to bring anything else. He wasn't going to go that far anyway and he didn't want to get something to eat as he already had breakfast, so he didn't really want to eat. At least not yet anyways. After getting his phone out of his locker, he closed his locker and left the staff room, making his way to the front door. He could see that a few other classes had started, but he didn't want to stay and watch because it wouldn't be as fun. It would just be him watching other classes go on for an hour before his next class starts.
"I'll be back sir," he said.
"It's no worries," Haechan responded. San left the school and turned left, wanting to just walk down the street. There was nothing that he wanted to see in particular, it was just better than standing in front of the martial arts school like a weirdo. He placed his phone in his pocket as he walked just so that he didn't accidentally drop it or have it get stolen from someone walking past. So, he wanted to put it in his pocket for safe keeping. As well as putting his phone in his pocket, he put his hands in his pocket because ... well it was more just for the sake of it because he didn't know what to do with his hands. He looked around him, seeing a few stores and a few other places that he didn't necessarily care about. Well, it's not that he didn't care about which stores were around, it was more of that those stores didn't interest him enough to make him go in and get something from it. So, he walked past every store that there was. Though he did smile occasionally at people that he had past and occasionally saying hi to people but that was mainly whenever people said hi to him first. It was something that he had made a habit of. Only say hi to random people if they said hi to him first, but he never really stopped to have a conversation with a random person.
The more he walked, the more that he saw around him. He saw a few dogs being walked by their owners, people just walking around with their friends and some people walking around with their children as well as other family members. There were also some people who were walking by themselves, San being one of them. Some people looked like they were on their way to work, others looked like they were going to something as a group and others looked like they were just going to walk around. San was apart of the people that were just walking around. He had no real plan on where he was going as he was just on a random small break that Haechan, his boss, allowed him to have small breaks in between class. In fact, Haechan allowed that with all of his staff to do so when it came to the time between classes. If there was enough time in between classes, then staff can take a reasonable break during that time. San continued to walk and walk until he found a bench to sit down on. He wanted to sit down because he didn't want to go too far from the martial arts school. It was just to save the long trip back to where worked. He watched as multiple things happened around him. Cars driving past, people crossing the street, a few birds picking at the ground though there was barely anything on the ground, a few people going in and out of different stores and multiple things.
Of course, he had seen these things everyday during his small breaks through out the entire day, so he wasn't surprised about what happened around him. Nothing really changed around him everyday. Of course, there were somethings that were different that occasionally happened somedays, but it wasn't all the time, so San never really expected something to happen. He took his phone out of his pocket and looked at the time, seeing that he still had plenty of time before his next class. He had roughly fifty minutes before he had to go back to the martial arts school, so he could do as much as he wanted or at least to a certain extent. Not that he minded because he didn't want to do something that would make him gain attention. He already had so much attention considering that he had a semi large online following for simply being a martial art teacher. He never really understood why he had a large following for doing something that a lot of people are qualified to do as well as teach, but he had learnt not to question it. A lot of staff at the martial arts school had a semi large following, so it wasn't like he was the only one that had a large following. Though he didn't let it get to him. He looked around him, one person catching his eye in particular. It was obvious that his clothes had some wear and tear in them. It looked like he had gotten his clothes from a second hand store, though San wasn't going to judge because he didn't know the guy's current situation. The guy could be living at a community centre for all he knew, though that happened to be the case.
The guy did live in a community centre, it's just that San didn't know that. There was something a little off about the guy, like something was going on. The guy wasn't acting like he was on drugs, if anything he was actually too sane to be on drugs, but it seemed like the guy was having a panic attack or something on those lines because he was holding his hand against his chest. Plus, it seemed like the guy was having some difficulty breathing. Something was definitely off with him and San could tell, especially when the guy pulled his phone out and seemed to be panicking about typing something on it. San obviously couldn't tell what he was typing since he wasn't close enough to the guy in distance wise, though he could tell that it was something serious going on. With every second that past by, the guy looked like he found it more difficult to breathe. Because of having difficulty breathing, the guy fell first onto his knees, then to his side and passed out due to the lack of oxygen that flowed to his brain. San immediately started panicking at the scene that was happening in front of him and jumped into action and ran over to him, kneeling beside the guy that passed out. On the guy's phone was the number for emergency services. Now San knew why the guy was in a panic. He was trying to call for an ambulance.
