Previously:

"Don't listen to them guys. You three make awesome hero's," Owlette compliments as Catboy races back beside her.

"Yeah don't listen to them. They're just jealous they aren't hanging out with us," Gekko attempts, smiling at his girlfriend and nudging her but she keeps her eyes trained on the ground.

"Yeah but...it does make me question if we made the right decision," Luna utters, making everyone stop in their tracks.

Currently.

"What!?" Owlette, Gekko, and Catboy exclaim as Gekko pulls away from her.

Luna's face turns red, as she turns away, embarrassed. She glances to Night Ninja and Romeo for support to find themselves with solemn faces, deep in thought.

"Luna, what do you mean?" Gekko hesitantly questions with evident worry laced in his voice.

"I-I don't know...I just...I'm going home," she sighs and begins walking away.

"I'll drive her home," Gekko looks towards the other four.

"That's fine we'll squeeze an extra person in the Catcar," Catboy assures tossing him the keys.

"Thanks," he gives Catboy a meaningful look before catching the keys and running after Luna.

~~~~~~With Greg and Luna~~~~~~
The car ride is mostly silent, unlike Gekko intended it to be. What surprises him even more is that she doesn't even climb into her usual passenger spot, but into the back seat.
Just as Gekko turns on his signal, he looks into the rear view mirror to check for cars. It was then he just so happens to glance back to Luna in the backseat with silent tears streaming down her face.
He scans her face to find her cheeks puffy and tear streaked. He makes the impulse decision to pull over the Gekko mobile to the nearest curb.
Gekko climbs back into the backseat, wrapping his arms around her as she cries into his chest. He places his chin on top of her head, playing with her hair until she relaxes.
"You didn't have to do that," Luna sniffles.
"It's alright please don't cry," he soothes.
"I-I'm s-sorry..." she stutters.
"What? Why are you sorry?" Greg muses.
"I don't even know...." Luna admits as she begins to cry even harder.
Greg stifles a laugh. Even though he wouldn't tell a soul, he's was always secretly amused of how vulnerable she can be when there aren't anyone else around.
"I'm a mess," she mumbles.
"That's okay, we all have our ups and downs," he softly speaks.
I wonder what Catboy and Owlette are saying to Romeo and Night Ninja. He waits a few moments until she calms down and be can eventually get a chance to talk to her.
"Don't let the wolfies get to you Luna, you're one of the kindest people I know," he takes her hand in his.
"That's not true," She denies, taking a deep and relaxing into his arms.
