Luna girl POV

My hand defiantly hovers over all the sparkly jewelry. Easily mine for the taking. I smirk to myself, fantasizing the piles of money I could make by selling these precious jewels.

But here comes my conscience...It's bad Luna...So what? I'm broke and need something to eat. But do you really want to get back into this lifestyle? I quit being a villain a while ago. It quickly lost interest constantly losing to the 3 of them. I had a little fling with Gekko, but eventually decided to run away cause I wasn't sure he was genuine. I was a teenager with a dream and no parents holding me back.

My moths eventually died, leaving me alone. I still have my Luna board and magnet, just kept somewhere safe for now. I grew my hair and created a new black and silver suit, so I wouldn't get recognized foe stealing. I've only been caught a few times but that'll all change once I can swipe a few of these jewels.

"Hold it," A deeper voice ear hose throughout the alley, startling me.

I freeze, and immediate recognition floods over me, the name repeating in my head over and over again. Catboy. I feel a wave of guilt wash over me. What are they going to say when they see me? Especially Gekko...

"Hands up," Catboy orders.

I reluctantly put them up, racking my brain on ways to get out of the situation when an idea comes to mind. I quickly lunge for the ladder across from me, swiftly scaling it until I reach the top.

I jump from building to building, and I can feel them quickly behind me. I can't outrun them...so I'll have to hide. I dive into a dark alleyway, waiting for them to pass by. Blood is pounding my ears and my adrenaline kicks in. I wait a few minutes. Crap. I trapped myself in a corner.

"That was pretty dumb," a voice says. I look up to find Gekko leaning against a large ladder with his arms crossed. Great

I take a second to collect myself and decide how i'm going to respond. Should I even respond in the first place?

"Listen lizard legs, you let me go and I promise not to cause any more trouble," I sigh and watch his face twist into confusion, which twists into longing.

"Only one person calls me that..." Gekko stares at me with a saddened face.

"Hey Greg," I try giving him a smile.

"L-Luna?" Gekko asks with tears pricking his eyes. I swiftly run up to him, engulfing him in a long hug. He immediately hugs me back.

"I've missed you," I mumble into the crook of his neck, somewhat surprised at his affection.

"I missed you too," he sighs, pulling apart from me but still gripping my arms as I hold his back. "What the heck were you thinking!?"

"I can explain," I mutter. "Trust me, I'll tell you everything."

"You better," he crosses his arms. "But first I've gotta get you out of this."

"Sounds like a plan," I smile, watching as his green eyes light up.

"How has...life been?" He mumbles with a goofy grin.
