"That was close" breathing heavily Jeno looked at his brother who scoffed. They were this near to being caught.

"This is all your fault!" Started Haechan looking at his brother who returned an offended look.

"How is it my fault? Last time I checked you were the one who suggested walking instead of taking a cab!"

Jeno and Haechan were preparing to go to school. But unlike the previous days, Haechan decided to walk to school hoping to find that someone whom he has been searching for. Jeno, knowing his brother gave in and decided to walk. What they didn't expect was one of their kind to be roaming around freely. The siblings, who recognized the male, quickly ran from the spot, hiding behind a building.

"Check whether he has gone or not!" Haechan commanded as Jeno rolled his eyes. Peaking out he heaved a sigh on realizing that the monster was nowhere to be seen.

Sure one may ask why they couldn't use their abilities? They're in the human world meaning that their power is reduced to half their strength in hell. Plus the fact that they were surrounded by humans persuaded the two to rather run than use their powers. Using their powers will only result in them getting exposed which will even risk their lives.

"Are you sure he has gone away?"

"I'm pretty much sure he has..." Jeno replied as he looked back at his brother who seemed to be thinking about something.

"Why is Taeyong hyung here tho?"

"Maybe he's looking out for us?"

"Oh...oh! That's not gonna end well!" Haechan said as a matter of fact as Jeno hummed. It sure wasn't gonna end well. They knew Taeyong very well to know that he was someone loyal to their father. Though the other was their cousin he had betrayed the siblings multiple times so running away from their house wouldn't be any different. If Taeyong comes to know about their whereabouts it would even end up them getting killed.

"Is it safe for us to even stay in the place we're currently living in?"

"I don't know...let's wait here for a while. We're still not sure if he has gone away."

Jeno nodded.

"This is not going to end well. Before shit goes down we have to find him and possibly abduct Jaemin as well" Jeno mumbled to himself but Haechan, who was standing beside him, was able to hear his brother. The latter scoffed hearing his brother's words.

"Abduct Jaemin as well? Geez, Jeno! You're that whipped huh? Plus why are you even planning on abducting him when I'm pretty sure that he'll come willingly!"

It's not like he hadn't seen the heart eyes the other had whenever he spoke to Jaemin.

"Do you think he'll willingly come with me when he comes to know that I'm a fqing monster, hyuck? Will he still come with me when he comes to know that I'm the one his kind should stay away from?" He asked frustrated as he looked at his brother who had a small smile tugging on his lips.

"If it's true love Jeno he will come with you...but Hey we still have a long way to go you know!"

"That's right...I shouldn't rush things..."

"My goodness! Can you stop clinging onto me?" Groaning Renjun faced his best friend Jaemin who pouted in return. Beside him were his brother and his boyfriend who seemed to be having a heated argument on who won the game last night.

"You know I have no one to talk to..." Jaemin said pouting as Renjun scoffed, crossing his arms on his chest.

"The Na Jaemin don't have anyone to talk to? Unbelievable. Plus the last time I checked you were flirting with that newbie...what was his name? Right! Lee Jeno!"

The mention of a specific male Jaemin blush as he hit the arm of the smaller make in defense.

"Hey! I wasn't flirting with him!"

"Whatever you say" rolling his eyes he walked forward only to be pulled by someone.

"Hey isn't that Jeno and Haechan?" Jaemin asked squirming his eyes at the sight of the siblings as the smaller male tilted his head. He didn't expect to see the two hiding behind a building. Mark and Lucas who were walking beside came to a stop as well.

"What are they doing there?" Asked Lucas as Mark shrugged.

Renjun's eyes furrowed at the sight. Clearly, the two looked like they were running away from someone the way they kept peeking their heads out from time to time. Though they were quite far away Renjun was able to see that the two were breathing heavily while talking in hurry. It just added up to his suspicions as he looked at his best friend.

"See this is why I'm telling you that they are nothing but trouble! Don't you guys see the way they're breathing hard? Plus the fact that they keep poking their heads out from time to time! They're not what you all assume to be!" Renjun voiced out as Lucas sighed.

"Where did you jump into those conclusions from?" Jaemin piped in as Mark nodded.

"It's not good to judge someone Jun"

"But-"

"No buts. Let's go! We're late" Lucas instructed as Mark tugged his boyfriend's sleeves.

"Shouldn't we tag them along?"

Lucas nodded as he moved to the other side specifically towards the building beside which the siblings hid. Renjun decided to stay back, quite far away from the building since he didn't want to do anything with the two. They didn't give him good vibes and from the way, they reacted he was sure that something was wrong regarding them.

His eyes wandered around the place and soon settled on someone who seemed to be searching for someone. The guy looked towards his directions making renjun's breath hitch. His eyes were glowing a bit and though he didn't know why they reminded him of the siblings.

As if the guy caught on to him staring he started walking towards Renjun making the smaller male panic. Something about him screamed danger and his heartbeats kept getting loud.

The guy stopped one foot away from him as he passed Renjun a smile. He was so good looking. The younger male didn't have a chance to evaluate whether it was a genuine one or a grin that warned him. He wanted to badly run away but he couldn't as if his feet were glued to the ground.

"Hi I'm Lee Taeyong and I was searching for two males" he started politely as Renjun blinked a few times.

"W-who?"

"Lee Jeno and Lee Haechan," he said as Renjun bit his lip recognizing the names. His first instinct was to tell the other that he knew who those two were. But seeing the way the two reacted a few minutes ago he decided to not betray them. After all, he knew them way better than he knew Taeyong and it was better to stay quiet than to poke into their business.

"I-I don't know" he managed to stutter out as Taeyong quirked an eyebrow up, obviously sensing the fact that Renjun was lying. Though he understood it the older decided to let go of him.

"Are you sure that you don't know those two?"

"I-" Renjun looked away from the other trying to form words. He was a terrible liar, he knew that. And he kept proving that to himself and others surrounding him.

"I- I actually don't know mister! Now if you excuse me, I have to go to school!" Renjun said bowing as Taeyong hummed returning the gesture.

"Forgot to ask...what's your name?" Taeyong asked as Renjun stopped.

"R-Renjun sir-"

"Renjun? Nice name" Taeyong complimented as the shorter male scurried away, his figure disappearing behind the corner. Taeyong sighed looking away.

Where will those two be?
