Sixteen

"Is there something on my face?" Annoyed Renjun asked as Haechan tilted his head getting a good look at the older. Jaemin and Jeno were outside, talking to Mark and Lucas while Shotaro was missing. He might probably with Sungchan, Renjun thought.

"Beauty" the younger replied with a grin making Renjun groan. Rolling his eyes he looked away, trying to hide the blush that was creeping up his cheeks. He didn't even know why but he got affected by the other's response.

Haechan smirked seeing Renjun's reaction before looking to his side grabbing a blanket. Throwing it towards the older he yawned before stretching his arms.

"It's cold. Aren't you going to sleep?" He asked as the other nodded before grabbing the blanket, looking hesitant.

"Uh...thank You..." Renjun mumbled as Haechan widened his eyes.

"Did you say something?" He was pretty sure that he heard the other say something.

"Yes...thank You"

Haechan smiled a bit to himself hearing those words as he wasn't expecting that. But of course, the monster didn't want to let that moment slide.

"Sorry, I didn't hear it. Can you say a bit louder?"

"I said thank you"

"Louder"

Renjun had his eyes widened. He was sure that the younger was making a fool out of him just by the way Haechan was looking at him.

"THANK YOU! AND GOODNIGHT" Yelling Renjun grabbed the blanket and covered his whole body, pretending to be asleep. Chuckling a bit Haechan went near the smaller male. Knowing that Renjun would be listening he started.

"Of course no mention. Anything for you darling" with that he backed away and turned off the lamp with Renjun covering his mouth. The game that Haechan was playing right now wasn't good for his heart. And if the other continues whatever he's doing Renjun would fall hard. And he didn't want that.

Renjun was afraid of love.

But will his perception change?

Renjun was greeted by the sight of a snoring Shotaro who had his mouth opened and hair, a mess. Renjun cooed at the sight as his eyes went to Jaemin who was snuggled closer to Jeno. Renjun smiled a bit before his eyes fell on the space next to Jeno.

His eyes squinted at the space but soon enough he disguised it seeing the figure of the said male walking towards the tent. He had a cup of coffee in his hands.

"You're up?" He asked as Renjun hummed pressing his lips into a thin line.

"Want some coffee?" Haechan enquired as Renjun shook his head dismissively, getting up.

"I'm all good," he said before making his way out smiling a bit. The air was fresh and the sweet scent of food hit his nostrils making his smile bright. He stretched a bit, exposing his tummy not knowing a pair of eyes were watching him. 

"Hyung! Save me!" A loud screech was all he heard as Renjun was tackled into the ground by a giant male being chased by his boyfriend. Renjun groaned when he felt his back hit the ground as he looked to his side to see Jisung smiling sheepishly.

"S-sorry"

"Renjun" a voice came from his side as Renjun mentally groaned knowing so well who that voice belonged to. The male extended his hand and though hesitant he accepted it, getting up.

"Thanks..." he murmured looking away, the incident of the previous day flashing onto his mind. He didn't expect Hyunjin to be standing next to him.

"Renj-"

"Injun!" Haechan called out jogging towards the smaller male's side as Renjun smiled gratefully before linking his arm with the other.

"See you later" was all Renjun said as he dragged Haechan away.

"Thank you for playing along" Renjun started as Haechan nodded, his eyes fixated on Hyunjin.

"How long has he been doing this?" he asked as Renjun's eyes wandered wondering whether he should tell the other or not.

"Quite some time..." 

Humming haechan turned around before fixing Renjun's sweater.

"You see you have a small frame and your sweater is even shorter to cover the bare skin. If you are trying to stretch do it inside the tent as there are some thirsty hoes lurking around" he reminded the older as he sipped on his coffee, walking towards their tent.

"What does that- don't tell me-" he screamed as Lucas came running to his brother panicked.

"Jun, what's wrong with you?"

"N-nothing"

"Students! We have an important announcement to make!" Mr.Byun yelled as the students started circling him with Renjun and Lucas trying to catch up. Judging by the voice they knew that whatever he was about to tell was pretty serious.

"I know we all came here to spend five days to enjoy but unfortunately the school has informed us to get back as soon as possible. Though the reason is not clear we should head back as it seems to be some sort of emergency. Mr. Lee said that the city would be shut after six pm and if we don't make it in time we wouldn't be able to get back home.

So, as much as I regret saying this, we are heading back to Seoul. Pack your stuff and we're heading right now. And no please don't stay back for refreshing as we have to get back there quick" he finished as Mr.Kwon stepped in eyeing the students.

"Is it clear for you all?"

"Yes sir!" they yelled before scrambling back to their tents. Shotaro and Jaemin just woke up and seeing the way the students were running around they turned to Renjun.

"We're heading back. There's some sort of emergency. According to Mr.Byun, the city would be shut down by 6 pm." he informed them as they went inside the tent packing their stuff. Jeno and haechan looked at each other before walking towards Mr.Byun.

"Sir," Haechan started as Mr.Byun turned around, his face beat red due to nervousness.

"Is everything okay?" he asked as the teacher tilted his head.

"What do you mean?" as much as he tried to cover his nervousness it was evident in his face.

"Is there something wrong? Why else would be the city closed by 6?"

"Well...you guys will know it once we reach Seoul. Now go pack your bags" Mr. Byun, trying to avoid a conversation regarding it, replied as they both hummed before bowing. they understood that there was no use in asking him and whatever was awaiting them, they were ready to accept it.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Jeno whispered to haechan as the younger glanced at his brother.

"Pretty much sure we're thinking alike...but for now..." he turned to face the older, "we should pack our bags and wait in the bus. Once we reach Seoul we'll get a clear picture of what happened"

"Is this happening because of us?" the older was worried as haechan took in a deep breath. 

"Probably..."

Sorry for this short chapter and I assure you this book will get interesting soon. After all, it's not a supernatural au for nothing :)

Also sorry for not updating for like two days. I came up with a schedule for updates but I had tons to study. And I'm procrastinating currently to even update so yea :)

My exams are around the corner and I have to go to school as well. Fqk my life.

Plus our neighbours have covid and our cat is sick :(
