Prologue

*5 YEARS AGO*

EMMA'S POV

"Thank God it's finally summer" says my childhood best friend while dragging me towards the front door with the aim of getting us out of the hell hole without us bumping into the devil incarnate , also known as Jake. As if reading my mind a hand grips the back of my arm and tugs me towards a hard body that could only belong to the devil himself.

"What do you want Jake ?"I ask putting on a bored expression. "What not going to say bye to the most amazing thing that ever happened to humanity?" he asked with a smirk tugging on his lips.

"OMG!! HARRY STYLES IS HERE ?? WHERE IS HE??" I shrieked using the girliest voice I could muster and watched with satisfaction as the smile was wiped clean off his face .

"Well then since your having trouble with your eye sight today lemmi help you clean them." before I could understand the meaning of his words I suddenly felt  extremely cold as a bucket of ice cold water was dumped over my head causing my white shirt to hug my body tightly and put my black bra on display. all around me people were pointing at me and laughing as they made fun of me for having small boobs.

I felt tears prickle at the corner of my eyes and with the last bit of courage i had i turned to Jake looked him dead in the eyes and said, "I wish you would just go away and never come back. I HATE YOU!!" I saw something flash in his eyes before it was quickly replaced with indifference.

I felt something tug at the sleeve of my shirt and turned in time to see my bestfriend sending Jake the coldest glare she could muster before she began dragging me away from the school. Little did I know that my wish would soon come true.

"Hey Emmz don't think too much about it Jake was just being his usual dicky self." Becks said looking at me with a look that could only be described as sympathy. "Hey Becks I think I'm gonna head home I've had a long day I'll see you tomorrow" I tell her making my way to my house.

That night I lay in my bed thinking of the days event and one thought was continuously running through my head. Was this how my high school life was going to be? Why couldn't fate just rule in my favor for once? with those same thoughts running through my head I fell a sleep. 

The next morning I woke up to a body which i could only describe as the one of my one and only bestfriend landing on me ."Gwet ouph mwe wou ouuph" I tried to let out when thankfully she got off me. "Did you hear?" "Becks I don't know if you noticed ... but I just woke up""Okay Captain obvious. Anywhooo did you hear that Jake's Dad got a promotion and now him and his entire family are moving to New York."

I sat there watching my bestfriend jumping around like a three year old who ate waaay too much candy   vowed to myself that this summer I was going to get the biggest glow up ever and that I was gonna make sure that Becks and I had the best highs chool experience of our lives.
