Narrator's POV

A week had flown by.

A week full of avoiding Jungkook to the max, University works, of laughs and fun with hyungs and Halmoni for Taehyung.

A week full of excitement, nervousness, preparation and anticipation for Yoongi and Jimin.

A week full of planning, squealing and work for Namjoon and Seokjin.

A week full of normal everyday events, scolding Jungkook and being oblivious about the little date for Hoseok.

A week full of... Well, annoyance and confusion for Jungkook.

Taehyung avoiding him and Hoseok scolding him about his activities were starting to really get to him. It was making him annoyed when it wasn't supposed to be. And without him knowing, he had slowly begun to spend more time with Taehyung's enemies quite often this week.

And the boys didn't like or approve of it one bit.

But even though this drama kept happening, Taehyung had requested his hyungs not to avoid Jungkook or leave him out because 'he doesn't wanna hang out with me, not you guys. So please don't do anything like that to him because of me hyungie, I promise I'll be okay'.
..Taehyung's words, not mine.

But besides all that, today was the day. The day everyone had looked forward to.

The day of the date!

Friday afternoon, 4:00pm; the designated place at the park. They were in the process of decorating and arranging the place.

"Joonie, are you done with setting up the lights?"

"Almost, love; this is the last string. Then what's next?"

"Okay good, after that come help me with arranging the bricks for the pit, please."

"Aye aye cap'n!"

"What do I do hyung?"

"Ah, have you already cleaned up the area, Tae?"

Taehyung nodded, but then realized his hyung couldn't see it as he was working on arranging the pit, so he quickly replied; "Yes hyung."

"Okay then, go grab some of the firewood for me, I think it should be in the trunk of my car, here's the key!" He swiftly turned around while pocketing out his car key and then tossed it to the younger. And the boy in question caught it easily with one hand.

"Hey, Jungkook, go with Taehyung after you've set up that grill! He might need some help. And don't do anything stupid that you'll regret later, or I swear to god I'll bury your muscly arse alive!"

"Jeez, chill old man, I'll go with him! I'm not gonna eat the dude, he's my friend too, for god's sake!"

"Yeah. sure." The rest of the three boys chorused.

"What?"

"Nothing, just go with him. He's already left."

"Huh? Oh, okay." He turned around and jogged towards a walking Taehyung.

And the said boy moved away from the older a bit when he caught up with him. Jungkook would be lying if he didn't find that a little hurtful, because he was sure he felt a small sting in his chest.

So in reply to the gesture, he did the same. He moved away a bit from the younger boy. But it seemed like he didn't even notice, and that made Jungkook feel irritated. But he decided to just let it slide. No point in trying now, right? He was the one who wanted to stay away from him, and now Taehyung was doing the same.
