(mini-chapter)
(Third Person: Stranger)
The stranger awoke with a start, his eyes adjusted to the soft morning daylight. He rolled over on his grey moldy mattress and looked out the round window. He watched as the deep aqua water splashed against the thick tempered glass. The world swayed below him as he steadied himself against the dirty metal walls. His head pulsed as he collapsed to the floor exhausted, his vision grew blurry as he grabbed his temple.
Thoughts swirled around his mind, as he tried to focus. The continuous rocking of the boat didn't help as he began to grow nauseous, the floor spun underneath his feet and his head spun. He struggled to lift himself from the floor, he hoisted himself onto the ceramic sink. His drunk-looking self staring back at him, he flicked on the faucet and splashed himself with the frozen water, the sick feeling he felt subdued slightly. He sighed and closed his eyes again trying to think back to how he got here, and who these people where. "Was I their friend? Family?" He didn't seem to know.
(Thanks for hanging in there with me haha, next chapter will come soon, I've kinda hit a writers block for the past few days, but I'm almost finished with chapter 2)
