Leo Middleton Chapter 1

Alice woke up, and looked over at Artemis. "So that boy, he is the one I have to find right?" She asked. Artemis nodded, bringing her watch to her. She put on her watch. "Hey Artemis?" Alice got out of bed. Artemis looked at Alice, "yeah?"

"Is there going to be a way for you to hold your human form longer?" She asked, titling her head to the side. "I mean, unless you like being a rabbit better" she quickly said. Artemis nodded, "Once my full power returns to me, yes" he said, with a small smile. Alice nodded then quickly got dressed.

A little while later, she walked out of the house with her brother. Alice then saw a boy pass by her. Alice stopped and turned to him, grabbing his shoulder. He didn't seem much older than her. "Hey, I found you finally" Alice said, now facing him. The boy turned to her, "um, who are you?" He asked, looking confused. Alice put a hand out for him to shake, "I am Alice Evans, nice to finally meet you" Alice said with a big smile.

The boy shook her hand, "Oh, I am Leo Middleton" Leo said. Alice nodded, "I know, I have been looking for you, it took me a year" she tilted her head. Leo stepped back, "creepy much?" He asked, nervously.

After school, Leo came to Alice's house as a friend of her's. They went to Alice's room. Artemis stepped forward to Leo, "Hello, Leo, we finally found you" He said, before handing him a purple watch. Alice looked at Leo, who slowly put the watch on. Leo looked at Artemis with confusion. "So what am I here for?" He asked, voice full of confusion.

"Leo, like Alice, you aren't from this world. You must protect this world from otherworldly beings that mean to cause harm" Artemis said, before turning into his human form. He looked at Alice, "You and Alice must now work together to protect the people of this world. It will take some time to get used to everything" he explained, now looking at Leo again.

Leo stepped back, "what do you mean, not from this world?" He asked, looking back and forth from Alice to Artemis.

"We are from a world called Valkeraine" Alice said, looking at Leo. "I was confused too, but you will soon understand" Alice explained. Leo nodded, then looked at Artemis again.

"You will know when there is danger. For you, to transform, you must call out Valkeraine Celestial Power transform" Artemis said, while handing Leo a grimoire. The cover was brown, with gold and purple looking veins on it, meeting a purple gem in the middle of it. Leo slowly put his hands on the grimoire and nodded, "ok.." he said, taking everything in.

Moments later Alice held her hand up, "there is trouble, we have to transform!" She said before calling out, "Valkeraine Angel Power...transform!" And she then began to transform.

Leo nodded, then held his hand up, and called out, "V-Valkeraine Celestial Power..transform" and he then transformed. His brown eyes glowed a soft purple, as a purple wrapped around him, creating long bell sleeves. The rest of his shirt was a button up dress shirt. The purple ribbon then became a long cape. Then a purple, with golden lines, mask appeared on his face. Leo stepped down after his transformation. "Wh-what the..." he was still very much confused.

"Lets go" Alice said, slipping out of her bedroom window, with Artemis. Leo nodded, "y-yeah ok" he said, before following the two.
