Responsibility for the Power

First week pt.2 (kid)

Yay! Another chapter! I know I said I was going to work on it but I got distracted with work and other shows I felt a sudden inspiration for.
Anyway~
I worked on it some more and got sidetracked by more ideas so don't be surprised if another one pops up. I rewatched Henry Danger as well and had an idea so I might do something fun for that soon. I already have two more stories I started working on with completed first chapters that I might post soon.

Monday...

"You know, couldn't I just switch with somebody? Anybody? Save myself the embarrassment! C'mon guys. Gwen wanna switch? Or maybe I can just pretend I no longer exist and not go! That sounds like a great idea! I'll do just that!" Miles exclaimed.

The rest of the cluster slightly chuckled at him. "Oh relax miles!" Anya said with an easy smile. "You'll do fine!" Gwen had said, trying to raise his spirits. Harry placed his hand on mile's shoulder and looked at him a little solemnly. "Sorry miles," the mask quite literally masking/distorting Harry's actual voice. "I would switch with you, but I think you would be annoyed by all the snark from Stark."

Hehe.
Snarky starky.
Miles thought to himself. Wait no, now is not the time to be hilarious. Focus miles, you're trying to save yourself from embarrassment.

"Look Miles, It'll be fine we chose to assign you the least crime ridden area to limit any kind of fight those two could get into. Just stay calm and try to relax, okay?" Peter tried to reassure him. Miles sighed in defeat, resigning him to his inescapable fate. "Okay..." and with that, they all went their separate ways to begin the night.....

Hulk, being a big guy, was not allowed to jump straight onto rooftops. They didn't want to scare any people with surprise tremors and Miles did NOT want to do damage control. He found Hulk and Thor waiting in front of Avengers tower and they were getting a few stares. "Ah, young Arachnid! we were beginning to think you would not appear!" Thor bellowed. Hulk just grunted in response.

"Yea well, I was feeling off this morning, didn't really want to do this today. Not that I dislike you guys or anything!" He quickly iterated.

"This because of the dart thing?" Hulk questions.

Darn. Miles was hoping they would have forgotten that. "Hehe, that was entertaining."

He sighed. "Well, glad you enjoyed my embarrassment. Let's just start alright?" They both nod at him. "Lead the way Spiderling."

"Our patrol will be slightly different than the other's." Miles said swinging slowly so not to lose the giants. Not that he could lose them, they were pretty fast for big dudes. It's the thought that counts though. "Because you two were the cause for most of the damage during your last fight," The two avengers slightly wince at the mention of the damage they caused. "you guy wont be allowed on regular patrols for a while. So, we get to do the menial tasks!"

"So," Hulk starts. "No, fighting?" Thor slowly finished the sentence. "And he gets the prize! We get to go around helping with everyday tasks, except for this week though, you just have to watch as I do it. You don't actually get to do anything until the second week."

They both grumbled under their breath in disappointment.

They didn't do much that day. The entire time was spent walking around while Miles explained to them the rules...

Tuesday...

"I can't believe you guys are hanging out and didn't invite me!" Antman exclaimed when he caught up to Miles and the two giants. They had been walking around.
