It was just the average Saturday. Sitting on the couch, on my phone, not caring about the TV on playing 'Minions'. We weren't expecting any deliveries, so I was just lounging around.
Suddenly I heard the doorbell ring.
ding dong
"(y/n)! Go open the door! I'll come down to see who it is!" Mum was coming, so I felt a bit better about opening the door, even though I am 11.
I take a few steps closer to the door. Mum finally arrived and is standing behind me. I open the door.
"Hello (y/n). Hello (y/n)'s mum. Can I come in?"
