Chapter 8 (Bloodlust)

"We need to hurry she's lost a lot of blood!" (Y/n)'s limp body was being carried throughout the hallways until it was placed on a steel table as many doctors surrounded her and prepared to save her life. "The King will kill all of us if we allow her to die!" A doctor was holding a needle of clear liquid near (Y/n)'s neck when something strange started to occur that caused another male in the room to scream out.

"Wait! What's happening to her!?" The doctors took a step back as they watched the wound on her neck start to patch itself up. "It's healing? Check her blood volume!" As far as any of the doctors knew Queen (Y/n) was only a mere human so for the wound to start healing itself so quickly was strange indeed.

"It's slowly going up I thought this girl was a human, since when can humans heal at this rate?" In the end (Y/n)'s wound was completely healed, there was almost no trace she was even attacked the only signs left were the blood that stained her clothing and some slight bruising on her neck.

"I'll kill every last one of you!" A voice could be heard outside of the door as the ship guards tried to get control over the situation they were facing. "Is he still going at it?" Due to the girl opening the holding cell door not only had she gotten herself attacked but she also released the bloodthirsty Captain as well.

"Somebody, go and help them before he murders everyone on the ship!" It took a few minutes but two of them finally grabbed something from a nearby drawer before they ran out of the room.

'Beep' 'Beep' 'Beep'

"Hmm" (Y/n) opened her eyes but closed them just as quickly, the light above her was blinding bright. Her head was killing her and her body felt so weak she wondered what happened as things were bit of a blur. Then the memories of what happened before she blacked out flushed her mind. "Right he attacked me"

The sound of snoring reached her ear as she tried to open her eyes again, she had to blink a few times but they adjusted to the harsh light. She turned her sore body following the snoring sound until she eyes landed on the man who attacked her, Doflamingo.

He was no longer covered in blood and looked peaceful as he slept in the bed next to hers though his spider legs were out in the open. "Doflamingo wake up!" (Y/n) needed an explanation from the man as to why he attacked her. After she shouted at him the first time he still didn't move, (Y/n) ripped out her IV's and started walking over to him until she was stopped right next to his bed and screamed into his ear.

It caused him to jump up as he looked around for the person that disrupted his sleep but when his eyes landed on his Queen he paused. "(Y/n), why are we in the infirmary?" Since the man didn't have his sunglasses on (Y/n) could see the confused in his blue eyes but she wasn't buying it.

"Don't give me that shit! You're the one who attacked me!" His confused turned to fear as his eyes started to scanned the girl's body for noticeable injuries they rested on her bruised neck. "I hurt you?" He tried to reach over to touch (Y/n)'s neck but he stopped himself and pulled his hand back to his chest.

"Why are you acting so confused, don't you remember your fangs sinking into my neck?" Doflamingo looked closer to the girl's neck but couldn't find any signs that he actually had bitten her. "Where are the teeth marks?"

"They healed" Thinking back him remembered her foot that healed itself, humans couldn't heal themselves so quickly. "What are you (Y/n)? Humans can't heal that quickly"

"No, no, no! I'm the one questioning you here, not the other way around!" (Y/n) going to yell at the man again when the door opened behind her and she took her eyes off of him for a second to see Baby 5 had walked in along with a lady whose head was bandaged up. By the time her eyes returned to Doflamingo his sunglasses were back on his face and his smile was replaced with a frown it was directed at the two girls who just walked in. "Jora I told you to watch (Y/n)!"

"(Y/n)-Chan! Are you okay!?" Baby 5 ran up to (Y/n) and gave her a one over before hugging her, much to Doflamingo's annoyance. "I was watching her Young Master until she knocked me out with your reading lamp"

"Is that true (Y/n)?" (Y/n) didn't look at Doflamingo as she changed the subject. "Why in the hell did you bite me? I thought I was your Queen not your blood bag!" He didn't answer right away as he tried to come up with an answer but Baby 5 answered for him.

"The Young Master can't control himself when he feeds (Y/n)-Chan, that's why he was locked in that holding cell" (Y/n) was being to understand it wasn't completely Doflamingo's fault for what happened but she was still angry. "I'm sorry..."

It was faint but (Y/n) heard it, Doflamingo was apologizing for his actions now that it was confirmed he had indeed attacked his Queen. "You really can't control your bloodlust?" Doflamingo didn't answer (Y/n) but soon the girl seen a tear appear from under the sunglasses he was wearing. The two others standing nearby noticed as well and quickly left the room.

"I didn't mean to hurt you!" That made (Y/n) remember something for her past, she couldn't always control her temper and it resulted in others being hurt around her. "Maybe you can learn to control it? I'll help you" Taking her hand (Y/n) wiped the stray tear away from the man's cheek before she placed a little kiss on it.

"You kissed me!?" Doflamingo was surprised by (Y/n) actions but the girl just laughed at the man. "You can keep your spider leg things out if you want, I'll get used to them. I'm also hungry where can I find something to eat?"

"You really don't mind that I keep them out?"

"There a part of you I'm not going to ask you to change something about yourself that defines who you are. Just don't touch me with them and I'll be fine" (Y/n) wasn't sure what came over Doflamingo but he pulled her by the hand until he lips were smashed against hers. 'Hm'

It took (Y/n) a minute to come back to her senses but when she did instead of pushing Doflamingo away she started kissing him back. When Doflamingo pulled away he placed one last kiss on her nose before completely moving away from her. "(Y/n)... why do you have wolf ears on top of your head?"

(Y/n)'s smile dropped as her hands flew up to cover her ears that popped out when she was kissing Doflamingo. "Don't cover them up, there cute~" He was trying to remove (Y/n)'s hands but the girl was stronger than he thought since her hands weren't going anywhere but as he looked back at her face, he seen the tears forming.

"It's okay (Y/n), I didn't mean to upset you" (Y/n) slowly removed her hands and when she did the ears could no longer be seen. "It's not your fault"

"Come on, let's find you sometime to eat" Doflamingo held his hand out as he waited for (Y/n) to take it but instead of taking his hand she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Can you carry me? I'm still a bit weak and sore"

"Of course, my Queen" Doflamingo placed an arm under (Y/n) so she wouldn't fall as he stood up and starting heading for the door to find the girl something to eat. He was full from his recent feeding but his little human was hungry and needed to be fed before she starved.

"I'll help you with your bloodlust problem Mingo so don't worry! I don't want you biting me again, your fangs are really sharp"

"If you think you can help me then sure but I'm not letting you get that close to me when I'm feeding again. I almost lost my little human~"
