When people say there were no survivors, I have but one question.
If there were no survivors, who tells the story? And version of the story is true? For the victors of the battle are the ones who write the stories.
But is their story true?
For the victors can twist the story to how they see it, or to how they wish it to be known as.
The losing side has no say in what happened when the winners twist the story into their own and leave no survivors.
The losing side may have been the side of the story we needed to hear the most.
But their side of the story is long gone.
Dead and buried with them and their bodies, Along with their memories
