Chapter 7

Time for the first task
I was up with Fred and George and they were placing bets with people. I walked away because that was very annoying. I went to see Harry and Cedric. I ran over and walked in and hugged Harry then I ran over to Cedric and hugged him. A flash of light then shot us. "Young love!" Rita skeeter said "if things go wrong you could make the front page." She said. "You have no place here only champions and friends!" Krum said. The teachers then walked in and started speaking. "Miss Lupin what are you doing here?" Dumbledore asked me. "Oh I uh... good luck." I said hugging Harry them Cedric.

Up on the stands I spotted Fred and George. I walked over and stood up next to George. "Where were you?"he asked "just wishing Harry and Cedric good luck. George pulled me in front of him and and put his arms around my waist. I heard the cannon and everyone started cheering for Cedric. He noticed me in the crowed and slightly smiled. My eyes started tearing up. The dragon then came in and I didn't look after that until people cheered again he got the egg I was to relieved! I didn't pay any attention to Fleur and Krums. I didn't care. Two of the people I cared about the most both had to battle a dragon.

It was then Harry's turn. He tried walking up to the egg but the dragon spotted him. I hugged George tight and started crying. He hugged me back. I couldn't only hear I wasn't watching. I Hermione yell "your wand Harry! Your wand!" I looked and he summoned his broom. The dragon broke loose and the twins started clapping "well done Dragon!" Fred yelled. I smacked his arm and he still cheered. They were out of sight for a while. I was so scared he got hurt. Then in the distance I seen him fly in and grab the egg. Everyone started cheering.

I ran off the stage into the tent and hugged Cedric while I cried. "Are you okay?" I said while hugging him. He hugged me tight and whispered "yeah I'm okay." I heard Harry's voice and ran to him and hugged him. "Harry if you died I would've been so mad at you! Are you okay?" I said to him. He laughed a bit and said he's okay. "You're bleeding! Let me help you!" I said. I sat him down on a bench and started patching it up. Cedric came over and talked to us. "All done" I said while giving Harry another hug. His friends came in so I let him go. I sat on the bench and Cedric sat next to me. "Y/n meet me in the owlry tonight at 12. Please." Cedric said to me. "Why?" I asked him. "I just want to talk to you." He said grabbing my hand. "Alright ced, I've got to go now. I'm proud of you." I said while standing up.

Time skip
Everyone was in the Gryffindor common room waiting for Harry. I was leaned up against George while he was talking to Fred. Harry then walked in and everyone ran to him cheering the twins propped him up on their shoulders while Harry held up the egg. "Yeah Harry!" The twins said together. "I knew you wouldn't die Harry!" George said. "Lose a leg!" Fred said looking up at him. "Or an arm!" George said looking up at him too. "Putting it together" Fred said "never!" They said in unison laughing.

"Shut up!" Seamus yelled as I passed him the egg. He then kissed the egg "go on Harry! What's the clue?" Seamus said. "Who wants me to open it?" Harry yelled. Everyone cheered. I walked over and stood next to George. "You want me to open it?" Harry yelled again. Everyone cheered louder. Everyone went quiet as he opened it. A very loud screech came out. Everyone covered their ears and yelled. The twins dropped Harry trying to cover their ears. Harry quickly closed it. "What the bloody hell" Ron said walking into the room. Everyone just stared at Ron. "Alright everyone.... go back to your knitting, this is going to be uncomfortable enough without you guys watching" Fred said.

I took George's hand and led him up to his room and sat on his bed with him. "I need to tell you something." I said "alright" George said grabbing my hand. "So when I went down to wish Harry and Cedric good luck, Rita Skeeter was down there and she took a picture right as I hugged Cedric. She said she's going to making it the front page and say we're dating. Sorry George. She might not do it though." I said looking up at him. "Well thanks for telling me... it's not your fault. I'm not mad at you or Cedric. I know you guys are friends" he said pulling me into a hug. "Thanks Georgie" I said hugging him back. "It will be quite annoying seeing the papers and everyone asking about them" he said pulling away. "Yeah I bet" I said.
