Chapter 10

Y/ns POV
I was with Cedric in the great hall and we were drinking hot chocolate. I had his sweater on and some jogging pants. "I didn't know they were going to take you y/n" he said looking up at me. "I know. If you did know you wouldn't have let me go off on my own." I said smiling back. "So how are things with George?" He suddenly asked. "Oh uh a little awkward... he seen us kiss and when I was walking with him he told me he was in love with me but he wants me to be happy" I said to him.

The next day
I was in potions class and I had to work with George because he was my table partner. We we making a potion and we weren't talking much. All the sudden he started mixing then it exploded on us and green goo went everywhere. "George.... we should go" I whispered. Then I grabbed his hand and we ran out of the class to the Gryffindor common room laughing. "Oh my god it's all in your hair!" I said laughing. "Same with you!" He said back laughing. We had a nice moment. "Would you like to stay with me during the final task?" I looked up and said back to him. "Yeah of course I will" he said smiling at me. "Save me a spot then I'm going to get changed." I said walking up the stairs.

I finished showing and I got dressed then ran to Cedrics room. "Ced!" I yelled out. "Hey" he said back as I ran into his arms. I pushed him onto his bed and sat on his lap and hugged him. He hugged me back tightly and then whispered in my ear "are you okay?" I let go of our hug and kissed him. Soon we were making out and the kisses got more and more intense and soon he got to my neck but then his friend walked in. I got off him then I walked him the the maze where the final task was. We got to the starting place and I gave Harry a big hug and told him to be careful then I went over to Cedric and gave him a long hug and he leaned in and kissed me very passionately. My hands were at the back of his neck and his one hand was in my hair and the other one on my waist pulling me close.

The band started playing so I gave him one last hug and went to find George. "Done making out with your boyfriend?" Fred said to me laughing. "Oh shut up" I said laughing back shoving him. The band was playing louder and everyone was cheering. "Silence! So in the game professor Moody put the cup deep within the maze, only he knows it's real position. As mr.diggory-" Dumbledore said but was cut off by cheers. I was cheering too. Amos put his arm up but Cedric put it back down. After Cedric looked over and winked at me and Fred nudged me. "Mr.Potter!" Dumbledore said getting cut off once again. This time the twins cheered with me. "Tied with first place they will be first to enter the maze followed by Mr.Krum and Miss Delacour, first person to touch the cup wins!" Everyone was cheering once again. Then they all gathered around. No body knew what they were saying. "Champions, prepare yourself!" Dumbledore spoke again. Everyone got into position and Cedric looked over at me once again. I gave him a thumbs up and he did it back. Then the cannon went off and off went Harry and Cedric.  The maze closed in behind them.

"Wait why'd it close? Is it supposed to do that?" I said gripping George's arm. "Yeah relax everything will be okay" he said back to me grabbing onto my hand and squeezing it. "Y/n, it's going to be okay" he said hugging me. Suddenly I seen a red shot in the air and out came Fleur. "George somethings wrong!" I said hugging him tighter. "You're only worried because Harry and Cedric are in there" he said. "If anything happens to them George I don't know what I'll do but I'm sure you're right, they're okay." I said looking up at George. 

The band started playing and we seen Harry and Cedric. Everyone was cheering but I didn't. Harry was gripping onto Cedric. "George somethings wrong!" I yelled pulling him to follow me. I ran over and Cedric was lifeless. I fell to the ground and I pushed Harry out of the way and hugged Cedric tight while I sobbed. "That's my son! That's my boy!" Amos then yelled out. So many things were going through my head and I didn't know how to process this. I was just sobbing Cedrics name and I couldn't leave him. I looked up and Dumbledore whispered something to George then George grabbed me and wouldn't let go. "George put me down!" I yelled at him. "I need to get back to Cedric and Harry! They need me George!" I continued to yell. "Y/n no you need to be away from them." He said trying to calm me down. "Cedric needs me! George he needs me I can save him!" I yelled. We then got to his room and he put me on his bed. "Y/n he's gone, Cedrics gone." He said as he pulled me into his arms. I could here him crying too. He was sad. "Is Harry okay?" I whispered still sobbing. "Yeah Harry's okay. Just crying" he whispered back. "It's my fault I should have told Cedric to withdraw, I knew it was a bad idea George I knew it but I didn't say anything!" I sobbed. "Y/n it's not your fault, you couldn't do anything to stop it." He said pulling me close to him.
