Frost's POV

It was winter and I was strolling around the deserted map of Adopt Me. Everyone had retreated back to the comfort of their homes, probably roasting marshmallows in front of cozy fireplaces or just enjoying a piping hot cup of cocoa while reading. Today was the shortest day of the year. The Winter Solstice, some called it. I tucked my hands in my coat pockets, hoping for some warmth. I only came out today because the news reported that it would be snowing! Hopefully the weather forecasts were accurate...

Bite's POV

I was in the pet shop, buying new toys for my frost dragon, which I named Frost. I sighed, remembering the last time I had seen the one I loved. Her name was Frost. I still remembered her beautiful clear blue eyes. Our parents had forced us to break up because we were apparently "not compatible with each other". Although, deep inside, I knew that Frost and I were a perfect match made in heaven. And I knew that Frost felt the same, too.

I shook my head to get rid of the memories. Frost must have forgotten about me already. It had been such a long time since we last met. I quickly grabbed some bags of pet food, paid for it, and left.

Frost's POV

Evening came and yet there was still no snow. I was about to head home when I spotted a familiar figure exiting from the pet shop. I gasped. But it couldn't be. We had broken up years ago, and that was the last time I had seen him. I still remembered the warmth of his hands when he held me ever so gently in his arms. I remembered his twinkling emerald eyes. It couldn't ever be him.

But it was.

He had a frost dragon by his side, which reminded me of myself. He was also clutching some bags of pet food. Tears sprang to my eyes and I was overwhelmed by memories... All the happy times I had spent with Bite... Our first kiss... Our first date...

Bite's POV

"C'mon Frost, let's go home. I know you enjoy the cold but I don't really seem to..." I sighed again as I beckoned my pet to follow me. I crossed the bridge over the frozen river, preparing to head home. Suddenly I felt that somebody was watching me. I turned my head and saw that... Frost was behind me.

Her beautiful face glistened with tear tracks, and I ran back to her, hugging her, holding her tight in my arms. Warm tears slid down my cheeks as I held the only one I ever loved.

Third Person POV

There were so many things left unsaid, yet the two lovers just stood there, hugging. They let go of each other, and icy blue eyes met emerald green ones. They smiled at each other, a smile of relief, happiness, grief and love. It seemed to convey all their unspoken thoughts. Bite put his arms around Frost's shoulders, and she leaned closer. Their lips met.

Frost and Bite held this kiss for a long time, it was long and passionate, unlike their first kiss. Night fell and stars twinkled in the sky, and their kiss never seemed to end. Just like Frost had been waiting for, snowflakes began to fall...
