SANA

Tzuyu's preseason is starting, she had explained—rather say without an emotion—that she'll be pretty busy with all the trainings and the games.

Whatever sports she's in, it's not my concern anymore.

What made me so happy is the fact that Tzuyu being busy means less work for me!

No evil queen, no cold-hearted princess, no witch! I finally won!

But regardless of having all the freedom in the world, I still need to start looking for a job.

"A-Ahjumma, is the Job still available?"

So here I am.

The job specification that I'm applying is pretty much not different from the job I have right now with Tzuyu *rolls eyes* I wasn't really a fan of doing anything for anyone, I was even hysterical when the Witch told me that I will be working for her, but do I have a choice?

I got my degree a month before I decided to escape Japan and I didn't get the chance to get my papers and documents with me, which could clearly explain why I'm applying for a waitress job. Right. A waitress

Just for this time, just for me to save some money before I could ask someone—pay someone—to get my documents off our house.

The old lady wiping the table where I sat in, drifted her eyes at me.

I gave her a smile. I was just going to order pancakes and coffee when I saw the hiring signage outside this shop. How perfect could it be?

"Applying?" She stopped wiping and put the cloth in the pocket of her blue apron to look at me from head to toe. She cleared her throat, innocently tilting her head to the side. "You are?"

"Yes." I smiled proudly.

To be honest, I still wanted to find my own place so I can focus on my own growth. Plus, the urge got stronger and stronger each day. Regardless of the free charges, I still want to live alone and leave the hell without a care for everyone, without doing anything to everyone escape to myself.

"You seem like you don't do a lot of chores. How are you going to work?"

I almost choke on the air at that. She's entirely not to blame, she just points it out so right.

I sat properly and give her one sincere smile.

"I'm very determined and very hard-working, ahjumma. I am a fast learner and I do think I can handle it." I said, eyes blinking. "And.. o-oh! I r-really need the job."

Please...?

Peeking out my puppy eyes and a little pout, Ahjumma sat down at the vacant seat in front of me. Good thing there aren't any customers around yet.
