We, me well, we didn't

Gibbs awoke to hear Sloane whimpering softly in her bedroom. He jumped up hastily and reached for his gun. How could someone get in here unnoticed. He opened the door and put the gun in position. There was nobody here.
Jack had a nightmare. He carefully put the gun on the bedside table and sat down on the side of the bed.

He stroked her arm, but that did not seem to calm her down. "Hey Jack, calm down. It's only a dream." Sloane didn't wake up.
"Jack," he now said aloud. She winced in shock and drove up. Confused, she looked around, because for a moment she did not know where she was. Everything was just too much for her.

She burst into tears. She just had no strength left. Gibbs tried to calm her down and lovingly embraced her. "Shhh, everything will be okay. It was just a nightmare. I am here. I'm gonna take care of you, you hear me?"
Sloane nodded weakly and looked at him.
"It's just that when I'm stressed old memories come back that I'd rather forget."
"I'm not judging you. You're strong, unless every person needs to let their feelings out at some point." She looked at him and tears rolled down her cheek. He embraced her again and they just sat there.

Jack woke up early in the morning because she heard footsteps. What was Gibbs doing up that early? She looked at him, but he was still asleep. She jumped up. Who the hell was in her room? She looked around in confusion and gazed into Ziva's amused eyes. "I didn't want to disturb you at anything," she said with a grin.
"We, me, well we didn't..." Sloane stuttered.
At that moment, Gibbs woke up.
"Ziva! There was nothing going on, but even if there had been, it is none of your business." Gibbs' reaction surprised Ziva. Normally, Gibbs treated her like a daughter and was not so harsh. Well, she had to admit to herself that showing up in his hotel room he's sharing with a women early in the morning was not the best idea she had ever had.

"Ziva, why are you here?" Jack asked cautiously after seeing the shocked look in Ziva's eyes. "Tony and Tali. They are threatened by the Shadow. I've been trying to stop this organization for three months and now I was finally close to them, but somehow they found out who I am and who I care about. Please help me to stop them. I cannot lose my family. "

Gibbs was shocked at the vulnerability he saw in Ziva's eyes. She had never been so open to her feelings. "I know you don't want to put them in danger, but isn't it about time you told Tony you're here and that you're okay," Gibbs asked softly. Ziva looked down and did not know what to say back. Sloane looked at Gibbs and he knew what she meant and quietly left the room.

"Ziva, it is obvious how you feel about DiNozzo.
I don't know how he feels, but from what I've heard, I think he loves you at least as much as you love him."
"What if he found someone new? I've been gone so long, I let everyone think I was dead. I broke his heart. He'll probably hate me now."
Jack was starlet at Ziva's frankness when they barely knew each other. "He will understand. You just have to walk up to him and take the first step. Everything else will take care of itself. What do you say, you go warn him, and in two hours we all meet outside in that café in front of the Eiffel Tower?" Ziva knew this wasn't really a question but more of a challenge, so she nodded. She whispered a quiet "thank you" and then she was gone.

Ziva took a deep breath. Now she could not back down. She knocked softly on DiNozzo's front door. He was probably still sleeping and did not hear her. That's good, she thought, because she wanted to prepare herself for what he would say to her first. She thought hard when the door was suddenly ripped open.
Tony looked at her confused and she was hurt because she thought he didn't want her here when he hugged her in a jerky movement.
Tears of joy ran down her cheeks. She had waited so long to visit him. For what reason?

She was angry with herself about her own cowardice, but the anger fizzled out right away when she really realized what she was doing here. She hugged Tony. Her Tony. They both just stood there and held each other. As they stood there after an eternity of being detached from each other, they looked at each other's tearful faces.

"I knew you would come back," he whispered, choking on tears. She was about to reply when she heard soft footsteps. Tali. Ziva gasped for air and burst into tears again. "Ima" called Tali, who had grown considerably since her mother had last seen her. Ziva dropped to her knees and her daughter ran towards her. Tony also bent down and all three of them crouched down on the floor of Tony's house and couldn't imagine anything more beautiful in the world.

Gibbs and Jack had decided to leave a little earlier to take a look at the city.
Jethro watched with delight as Jack absorbed every detail and was fastinated by everything. She was so sweet when she was happy.
He set himself the goal of making her happy more often. She just meant so much to him.
He was shocked when he realized that he was in love with her. What should he do? She was so important to him and he didn't want things to get weird between them.

Far too late he realized that she had caught him staring at her. "What's wrong? Did a dove crap on my head?" Jack asked and nested in her hair. "No, don't worry," said Gibbs, laughing. "Everything's fine, let's go to the cafe and reserve a nice table. Have you ever eaten anything?"
She thought for a moment and then looked thoughtfully into the distance.
"Not that I know of."
"Well, then it's about time," he said worriedly and pulled her along cheerfully by hand.
She laughed and he could swear that this was the most beautiful sound on earth.
