Chrismas time part 1 -human au-

Pearl is trans in this au and lapis is pan neither on of them no that about each other

Pearl's POV

I layed in my bed reading a book called 'when water hits land' it was quite interesting, I picked up my phone as I heard it buzz.

Steven: hey pearl! I'm having a Christmas party in 5 days! Amethyst, Garnet, Peridot, and Lapis will be there! If you plan on coming bring at least one gift for each person!

Pearl: ok, I'll be there.

I put down my phone as I thought of what he said, Lapis. my crush, will be there. Man I've wanted to tell her for so long but there's still one thing she doesn't know about me, I'm trans. I just prefer to go with the pronouns she/her. Damn I hope she won't think of me differently.

Sigh I atleast should tell Lapis, she's my best friend.

I picked up my phone agian and texted her

Pearl: hey Lapis, can I tell you something?

Crush (lapis): oh hey Pearl! And pearl you know you can tell me anything.

Pearl: sooooo... you know how I'm REALLY flat chested?

Crush: mhm? Not really sure where this is going but yes.

Pearl: and yknow about me being awfully skinny

Crush: pearl what ever your trying to say I won't put agianst you,

Pearl: fine, I'm trans.

Pearl: I was born trans,

Pearl: just always went by she/her.

Crush: pearl it took all of your energy to type me that, lol, pearl I love you for who you are. And I guess you didn't know I'm Pan pearl. If you thought I wouldn't care about you look into that. I will always love you for who you are lol, now I'm coming over to give you a hug. And you CANNOT stop me

I was in tears from what I just read, I came out to her. Now all I need to do is tell her that I want her to be my girlfriend. But I'll do that at the party,

Seconds later a knock was on the front door and I heard it open (she has keys to my house) and then heard running. A door frantically opened (which was my bedroom door)

She dived onto my bed as she hugged me,

"Did y-you run all the way here it's like a fifteen minute walk?" I asked as our eyes met,

"Nope, I biked here" she smiled as her hand touched my face to get rid of my tears.

"Now that I'm here I'm not leaving" she snickered as she knocked me into laying down,

She layed down with me as we both looked at the ceiling,

"So.. do you wanna talk about it?" Lapis asked,

"Sure? But what is there to talk about?" I asked,

"Just a few personal questions if that's ok?" She looked at me,

"It's fine by me"

"Okey then, question one. What part of you is more man like? I get your flat chested and all but i don't know you could have a dick to just a really female like voice"

This made me laugh, "well I defenantly do not have a dick or I wouldn't be able to wear most of my clothes, and it's honestly just my chest,"

"Ok next question. How did the doctors know you were trans when you were born"

"Hmm hard one, they probably knew because I was really skinny lol" I snickered,

"But besides that no idea"

"Hmmm, ok then, can you lower your voice like some others?"

"Defiantly" I snorted,

"Really! Can you do an example?"

"Fine but only for you"

"What should I say?"

"Hmmm How about 'Lapis is the bestest friend'" she snickered,

"Ok then,"

"Lapis is the bestest friend" I said in a gay boy voice,

She looked shocked, "you ligit sound like a gay boy, I love it" she smiled,

"Now I have a question for you" I said still in the voice,

"Ok enough with thre gay boy voice it doesn't fit you" she snorted,

"Ok, ok, Anyways. Have you ever dated a trans person?" I asked,

Lapis POV

The question was odd but I decided to give her a hint about my feelings,

"Nope but now I know I'm defenantly more attracted to trans," I flirted, she seemed to be a little confused and didn't get it,

But it was ok, some day she'll know.

"Anyways how's your dog?" She asked me,

"Huh? Oh pumpkin, she's still crazy but I have realized that she's not feeling good" she sighed.

She turned her body to face me.

"Is she ok?"

"No, I took her to the vet and they said she has cancer, and I can't afford to deal with it. So they're telling me that it's her time" my eyes teared up,

Suddenly pearl hugged me, "hey, it's ok. I see both sides, pumpkin is an old dog, and it's gonna be harder for her to live through cancer, and it's gonna be hard for her to survive getting rid of her cancer, and I know you would never want to get rid of her. But I want you to know something"

"Y-yea" I started to cry as she looked me in the eyes,

"It hurts a lot to loose a pet, especially when they were your best friend, but to cross over to heaven they need a peice of you" she smiled,

"And if you do have to put her down I'd like you to know that your welcom here whenever"

I started to sob as she brought me into a bonding hug. I suddenly was exhausted and fell asleep in pearl's arms.

-the next day-

I woke up to hear pearl's breathing, I sighed as I remembered yesterday and what she told me.

I grabbed my phone and called Pumpkin's vet.

Doctor: hello?

"Hey I need to make an appointment for a put down"

Doctor: oh no, what happened,

"My dog Pumpkin is 13 and we found out she has cancer, I can't afford to fix her decease, nor can I afford to loose her. But it's for the better"

Doctor: I'm sorry miss, what's your name?

"Lapis, Lapis Lazulli"

Doctor: thank you, when do you want the session?

"Around 7pm today,"

Doctor: ok miss, see you then,

I hung up.

Pearl started to kick in her sleep as her arms were some what wrapped around me, I sighed as I got out of her grasp.
