Above is a picture of Lydia's Porsche. It's silver and convertible.

The next day I was more than happy to have been allowed to sleep in. My mother saw how agitated I was when I came home. She knew that driving would make me feel better and when I came back more pissed off than I was when I left she knew to not bother me. Last night before going to bed, she came in saying that I can sleep in tomorrow and even put off going to school for another day if I wished. She was being very nice, but I wanted to go to school, I wanted to get out of this house and away from her. I told her my thanks and said that I'd just go in late. It's now 10 am and I'm just now rolling out of bed. From the sample schedule that the school sent, I know that I have missed first and second period. I walk to my bathroom to take a quick shower, making sure to use a lot of my lavender conditioner and body wash. After I'm finished, I let my hair fall down to dry into its natural waves. Since my hair is thick, I know it will take a while for it to dry completely.

I hated the fact that I was starting school in the middle of the first term. It meant that is have to see exactly what I missed, what I have to make up, and that I missed cheer tryouts. Though, I'm sure that once they see my tumbling and realize who I am, I'll be on the squad in a second. The only sad part is that I'll most likely not be captain. Knowing that just brought down my mood, and I got mad at my mom for making us move once again.

I walked into my amazing new walk-in closet to find something to wear. Since it my first day, I have to look extra good. I might stop trying after the first month of going to the school. I inwardly laugh at that, knowing that I wouldn't stop trying, I never do. I end up wearing denim short shorts with frayed ends, a beige bando with a black see through, lace tank-top, and my converse sneakers. Confident in my outfit, I go to the bathroom to do my makeup and hair. I put on some mascara, eyeliner, smoky eye eye-shadow, and some sparkly pink lip gloss. Since my hair is in its natural waves, I just take a small clip and clip some of the hair out of my face. I glance in the mirror to make sure that there's no mascara on my face and head to my dresser. I put in some gold hoop earrings and diamond studs, my gold charm bracelet, and my rose-gold necklace with my initial on it. Looking down I realize that my purple belly button ring looks out of place, so I change it to a dangling gold bow. I take one last once-over in the mirror and head out.

Since it's such a nice day, and there's no chance of rain, I decide to take my Porsche to school. Thank god Alek already programmed the school's address into my car's GPS because I have no clue how to get there. One last check to make sure that I have everything and I'm off.

I pull into the school parking lot, and instantly recognize the beat up truck from yesterday. Great, he goes here. This school is going to be very interesting. I let out a sigh of exasperation, and pull into a parking spot. Surprisingly it's in the front. As soon as I park my car, I realize why its empty. There's a sign in front of the spot that reads, "RESERVED for Lydia Hadley". Sometimes I love my mother, but I have a feeling that this wasn't my mother's doing. I look to the left to see that my brother's Venom GT is in the space right next to mine with a similar sign in front of the space, but instead if Lydia Hadley, its Alek Hadley.

I turn off my car and get out. Walking to the entrance I pull out my phone to text Alek to let him know that I'm here. He likes to know where I am at all times, he's over-protective that way.

Lydia:

I just pulled in, heading to the office to get my schedule.

Alek:

Sleeping beauty if finally awake?! What?! Haha. The office is to the right, 3 doors down. Just ask the secretary for your stuff.
