"I should go."

"No please don't."

"Blaise will be back soon."

"So?"

"Draco he may tell Potter I was here."

Draco snorted. "If Blaise is talking to Potter then he's no longer my friend. Stay please."

"I can't stay. But I'll come again tomorrow."

Draco looked up. "Promise?"

"Of course Draco."

Draco smiled. He was left alone in the next second. He sighed as he stretched his body out. He looked at what he was wearing and frowned. Running a hand through his hair he stood up and looked in the mirror.

'These aren't mine or Blaise's. Sure Blaise is bigger than me but his things just hang like elephant skin. This isn't hanging like that.' He looked to the door where his visitor had left. 'It's definitely not his. We're the same size.'

The door opened breaking Draco's thoughts. Draco looked at the reflection in the mirror. It was Blaise. Blaise smiled at him and Draco frowned. Blaise raised an eyebrow and shrugged.

"Brought you a pepper up." Blaise said and placed the potion on Draco's bed. "Nice rose. I thought Harry only sent red ones though."

Draco grunted. A headache forming in his temples. He wanted to know whose clothes he was wearing. So he could thank them, because they were the most comfortable clothes he'd ever worn. Blaise sighed as he picked up the rose. The thorn cutting his finger. Being a green thumb the prick didn't bother him. What did bother him however, was the faded blood red, almost black, strip that separated the rose from the stem. He tucked the rose into his pocket while Draco was still preoccupied in the mirror.

"Hey Draco. What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing just tired. Thanks for the pepper up." Draco said then downed the potion.

He fell asleep soon after climbing in bed. Blaise watched him carefully. It occurred to him that Draco wasn't even interested in finding out how Harry was. Almost like he didn't care. Blaise brushed it off as a long day and went to bed. He made sure to keep the rose hidden.

Harry had another nightmare that night. Waking Snape up with a slap to the face. Snape grumbled as he mixed a quick dreamless sleep potion. He woke Harry up making him eat a little before handing him the potion.

"Sorry Sevy." Harry yawned.

"What was it about?" Snape asked.

"Dray was torturing Pansy and Dean. Then he killed me." Harry sighed yawning again.

Snape nodded and tucked Harry in before climbing in the other side of the bed. The potion effectively knocked Harry out without any other dreams that night. Snape soon fell asleep and had a dream of his own. Except it wasn't his. Something bad was indeed going to happen. How bad was unknown. What was also unknown.

Day 2 after Draco cut his hand on the rose was the same as the first. Harry took his homework and catch up from Hermione then disappeared. Draco stayed in bed. Not that he was sick but because his magic was depleted. He wasn't alone though even though all his friends believed he was. The rest went about their business. Dinner time Harry and Snape left.

Draco was the first one up the next morning. He got ready for the day and left without Blaise. He walked into someone and smiled. The person smiled back. They left the common room and walked to breakfast. Finishing early and leaving to their first class. Draco was exhausted. Every night his magic was fighting some seemingly invisible force. Every night he had the same dream that was promptly forgotten when he woke up. Something was missing, but he had no idea what.
