104 Days: Draco Malfoy x Reader

Day 3

I woke up wrapped in Draco's arms and I didn't know what to do. I forced myself to fall asleep so I didn't have to deal with the awkwardness of getting out. I woke up about 15 minutes later to Draco looking around but I was still wrapped in his arms. 

"Goodmorning" He chuckled nervously. "Uh, how did this happen? Not that it's bad just I don't know." He said nervously. "Oh, you don't remember? That's fine. You had a pretty bad nightmare last night and I woke you up to stop it and you hugged me tightly. You then fell back and I couldn't get out so I just fell asleep." I said chuckling. 

"Oh my go- y/n I am so sorry." He said. "No it's fine I really don't mind, I'm just glad I stopped the dream. Do you have those... often?" I asked in hopes that I wasn't the only one. "Um kinda almost every night." He said. "Oh, I'm so sorry I completely get it," I said relieved that I wasn't the only one who had them just about all the time. 

"So wanna help me make pancakes for breakfast?" He asked. "Um is that even a question?" I asked. I got up and then helped Draco up. We walked into the kitchen and he grabbed all the ingredients. 

I watched him as he was grabbing everything. Wow, his ruffled morning hair was so attractive. Wait a damn minute. I- I just thought that?! I thought to myself. "Alright, that everything." He said. I walked over and grabbed the mixing bowl. 

Draco helped me get all the ingredients inside the bowl and I started to whisk the bowl fast. "What are you doing?" He asked. "Mixing the ingredients together, duh," I said. "We have magic for that." He said grabbing his wand. 

"No! Nope!! I wanna do this by hand if you don't mind." I said turning the bowl away from him. I finished whisking and set the bowl down I dipped my finger in it slightly and tasted it. "Yum that's always the best part about making anything," I said. "What's that?" He asked.

"Tasting the batter of course! Try it!" I said. "Gross. Yea I'm gonna pass on that one." He said. "Draco Malfoy you try some of this batter right now!" I said. "Alright fine calm down Merlin!" He laughed. I saw his laugh fade into a smile. Wow, he smiles? It's a goofy and cute smile. I thought.

He dipped his finger in and his eyes went wide as he'd never had anything delicious before. "Holy shit that's amazing!" He yelled. "I told you!" I said we shared a giggle and he took his other finger and dipped it in the bowl. He walked over to me and booped it on my nose. 

"Your asking for war Malfoy," I said. "Then it shall be the greatest war ever fought by young y/n y/l/n." He said in a courteous voice. I laughed and walked towards him. As he backed up I dipped my thumb in the batter and smeared it on his forehead. 

He laughed and looked at me shocked. He backed up a bit and ended up knocking over the flour. I let out a big laugh and he jerked his head towards me. My face went straight but I couldn't help it. I let out a giggle and he ran towards me. I darted away and into the living room.

He chased me until I ran back into the kitchen. I bent over and picked up a handful of flour when he caught up I chucked it at him. The flour went all over his face and torso. I laughed at him so hard I didn't fully comprehend that he walked to me. 

Next thing I knew he tapped on my shoulder. I stopped laughing and turned to face him. He held out his hand which had a mountain of flour on it. He blew it and it got all over my face and hair and torso. He laughed and I nudged him. We both chuckled for a bit then calmed down.

"Alright, I'm hungry let's make foooood!" I said, he giggled and as I grabbed a small measuring cup I didn't see him staring at me. I used my wand to heat the griddle up. "I uh thought you didn't want to use magic." He said.
