We were silent the whole ride after he said that. Ang kapal naman ng mukha niya. Sa lahat ng pagseselosan ko yung chaka na iyon? Ilang oras na kaming bumabyahe pero hindi ko pa rin alam kung saan kami pupunta. All I did was stare outside the window. When I was too bored of hearing the music I finally asked him where we're going.
"Saan tayo pupunta?" Tanong ko.
"Secret." Sagot niya.
"Kanina pa tayo bumabyahe. Baka naman naligaw na tayo?" Tanong ko ulit.
"Tiwala lang, Vi" Sabi niya.
"Okay...." Sagot ko.
Ilang oras pa at nakarating na kami sa pupuntahan namin which is Intramuros. Ang tagal ko ng gustong pumunta dito pero wala talagang time at wala akong kasama kung may pagkakataon man. When we got there, inaya ko si Isaac na magbike, pero plot twist hindi ako marunong magbike kaya nagkalesa nalang kami at nilibot ang Intramuros. After touring around Intramuros we went to Rizal Shrine and took pictures.
"Did you know that Jose Rizal's real name is José Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda? So, meaning he's your grandfather." I said.
"Really? I forgot about that." He said.
"Hala ka, sumbong kita sa Tita mo." Sabi ko. His aunt is our AP teacher before.
"Yan lang naman nakalimutan ko eh. Sa kinahaba-haba pa naman" Sabi niya.
"Okay, whatever." I said.
Pagkatapos naming libutin ang Rizal Shrine. Pumunta kami sa San Agustin Church and Museum. Nakakaamaze talaga ang ganda ng simbahang ito. Someday, I want to get married on this church. Pagpasok namin ay umupo kami at tinignan lang ang altar. Lumuhod kami at nanalangin. I prayed that whatever is coming my way, I can overcome it.
"Pagod ka na?" Tanong niya habang bumalik kami sa pagkaupo.
"Medyo" Sabi ko.
"Gusto mo na bang kumain?" Tanong niya.
"Yes please, I'm starving." Sagot ko.
"Let's go." He said.
Bumalik na kami sa sasayan niya. Bumyahe kami papuntang Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant. We went inside and went to our seats.
"You know, I want to get married on that church." I said out of the blue.
"Where?" He asked.
"San Agustin" I said.
"Oh.. noted" Sabi ni Isaac.
"Gago!" Sabi ko.
"Avi," Tawag niya.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"I like...." He said with a long pause at the end.
"Like what?" I asked.
"Nothing. Nevermind" He said.
"Ano nga yon?" Tanong ko.
"I'd like some wine gusto mo rin ba?" Tanong niya.
"Oh.. sure" I replied.
Kasabay ng pagdating ng wine ay pagdating ng pagkain namin. We talked about our upcoming exams and about our experience earlier. After dinner, inikot namin ang lugar. It looks so beautiful at night. The romantic vibe of this place is overpowering.
"Did you enjoy today?" He asked.
"Yes, I did," I said.
"I'm glad you did." He said.
