The Myoui Mina

16 - First Snow

Mina's POV

We're at a clinic. Andy is waiting outside for me to finish.

"Everything's good, Ms. Myoui, you're making a lot of good progress. And I'm happy by the result" My Therapist said in Japanese. I nod and smiled. I bid my goodbye and saw Andy waiting outside. She immediately welcomed me with a warm smile.

"How's the therapy" she asks. We're at a Cafe right now.
"It's good. Refreshing. Thank you for waiting." I said and smiled.

"I'm happy that you're okay. Just know this, you're an amazing and strong person. Surely some people will say something. But hey, it's natural. We can't please everybody. But rather we can prove them wrong. When you feel like tired, rest. When you feel like lonely. Just think of happy thoughts. And when you think you're alone? Just think of me. I'm here, Minari. I'll be with you the same as your members and your fans are. We're all here. Okay?" Andy said and hold my hand. She's squeezing it gently.

I just nod and smiled. I leaned my head on her shoulder and she rubs my head. We stayed like that for good 10 minutes until I noticed that the snow is falling!

"Look, Andy~ssi. Snow are falling" she looked outside.
"Wow! This is my 3rd time here but this is the 1st time that it's snowing." she said she looked like a child.

"You know what they said? You're first snow in Japan, you need to make a wish. Let's go outside and do your wish" I dragged her outside and we went to the near park.

She's laughing and starts to turn around. Arms wide open. She really looked like a child. You will not see the cold and angst Volleyball player. She doesn't look like a girl who like casual hook ups. Hihihihi

"Hey, what's your wish?" I walked to her.
"Can I hold your hand?" I nodded and I took the initiative and hold hers.

She closed her eyes. She's already wishing.

She opened her eyes and look at me. We're both looking at each other.

Slowly, I move my head towards her. Inch by inch, until I can feel her breath. I can smell it, minty with a touch of coffee that she's drinking awhile ago.

My heart is beating so fast, I want to do something but I don't know if this is right. If she wanted it. But she said, I'm her crush right? So is it okay to her.

I move again, I open my eyes. And saw that she's looking at me intently, she's waiting. I know it, but she doesn't want to move. I looked into her eyes, then to her lips. It's parted a little. She sighed. And look at my lips again.

She cupped my cheeks. She moved a little far and looked into my eyes.

"Can I court you, Mina?" she ask all of a sudden.

I opened my mouth and closed it again. I can't seem to find the words to answer her.

"I know that we're about to kiss. But, for the first time. I want to make everything right first before that." she said.

"Why?" I ask
"Why not? Who am I fooling here? I'm not courting you because your the 'Mina from Twice'. I want to court you because for a long time, I felt it again. My heart is beating so fast whenever I see you." she then place my head on top of her chest. And yes, I felt it too. "You made me out of my walls, you made me feel things. For so long, I try to hide my emotions. I made myself cold. I slept with different girls. And I'm not proud of it. But right now, yes, I really really wanted to kiss you. But you don't deserve that. You're different to the girls I've been with. You're special, you're precious. And let me prove it. So, again. Ms. Myoui Mina, may I please court you?" she ask again and smiled at me. Genuine and warm.

Her eyes are speaking to me, giving me promises of happiness with her.

For the first time, I felt assurance. I felt security. I felt safe and warm. With just a look from her, I know that even though I'm new to this, I know that I'm willing to give it a try.

And so i did. I look straight into her eyes. And nod.

"YES? Jjinja? Yes?"
"Yes, Andy~ssi!" I said a little loud and she danced in the middle of the snow. She carried me and she swing around.

I'm happy right now.
She put me down. She looked at me and cupped my cheeks again. I closed my eyes.

Then I felt her lips to my forehead. And she hug me. We hugged each other tightly and both of us smiling.

We both don't know yet what's ahead of us. But we're both sure that we're happy now.

And now is all that matters..
