Eret's Letter and Betrayal

I hope this letter finds you in the best of health and spirits. I am writing this letter to express the utter disappointment and devastation I feel upon discovering your brutal traitory.

I know you are better than this. It's not too late too go back and apologize, you can still go back, Niki. Please, don't end up like me. Whatever it is you want from this, it will not be worth it. I know it. I know you'll eventually regret this. So, Please. I beg you not to betray them. What would Tommy and Tubbo think? What would Wilbur think? Sure, the guy went mad but what do you think he'll feel once you betrayed them.

So please. Go back. It's not worth it. Please.

The letter I got from Eret was written two days ago, right before my betrayal. Schlatt must've found it and kept it from me before I could read it, thinking it'd make me change my mind. He was wrong.

I look up from the letter at the destroyed and damaged underground empire that was once Pogtopia. I do not regret this. I don't. I did this for me. To take back my home.

I hear the sounds of heavy panting coming from behind me. I looked to my side to see Tubbo and Tommy, bruised and injured.

"Niki. Why'd you do it?" I hear the cracking voice of Tubbo coming from behind me, I look back to see his devastated face with Tommy beside him, with an angry face

"Niki, how could you." Tommy says in an angry tone, I looked at them "How could you side with Schlatt?! I thought you hated him???"

I raise my brow, I chuckle "Wh... What's so funny?" Tubbo says

"'Side with Schlatt'? Why would I side with Schlatt? I hate him." I say, my tone changing to a serious one

"I did this, just to get L'Manberg back. I don't care about Manberg or Schlatt or anyone! I only care about getting my home back!" I snapped, which made Tubbo and Tommy flinch

"I've been dragged by the people around me all the time and I'm done! I am done, all I want is my home back, L'Manberg back. And to do that, I need to pretend to be on Schlatt's side." I add "So, are we done with this sappy talk?" They stayed silent

"Thought so." I then turn back around, not looking back, leaving the last two people I sided with, alone.
