The rest of Rosie's tour was a blur. She had a few more stops, where she and Jisoo did the same things. They ate a ton of food in the hotel room. They walked around and took Instagram pictures. They drank. They FaceTimed Jennie and Lisa and a few of Jennie's friends that she wanted them to meet. Rosie performed, and then they were off to a different city. Now, they were on the plane on their way back to Melbourne, and Rosie's tour was finally, finally done. Melbourne fashion week was next week, and Jennie, Lisa, and a ton of other people they knew would be flying in. Red Velvet's Irene, Seulgi, and Yeri would be there, Jennie's friend Somi, and a huge handful of other successful Korean girls that Rosie didn't know. Rosie had been in group FaceTimes with most of them, but she didn't really know them yet. But somehow, Jennie had convinced them all that Melbourne Fashion Week was the place to be.
And Lisa would be there officially. Not as Lili, but as Lisa. Melbourne Fashion Week this year was a week before Christmas, and Lisa had decided to stay in Melbourne for the holidays. This was great, as FaceTime wasn't everything, but at the same time, the public would have their eyes on both girls, and should they suspect anything, they were infinitely close to the New Year's tradition of a celebrity couple being revealed to ring in the new year.
"Rosie. Rosie. Roseanne," Jisoo said, poking her over and over again.
"Hey!" She exclaimed. "What's the matter?"
"We're here." She said, and Rosie looked outside her window. It was true; they were landing at the airport now, and the staff were already getting ready. Rosie was wearing royal blue Adidas pants and a cropped top, her hair and makeup done a few hours ago for her to get off the plane with. She had to dress up for the airport no matter what, because it seemed constantly that she was being mobbed as soon as she got off the plane by fans. She didn't mind; it was nice to know people still cared.
"I just want to go home and take a nap in my own bed," Jisoo said.
"Is it really yours if it belongs to your friend and you've colonized it?" Rosie said. "My guest room is open to you whenever you want, but where do you even live?"
"I'm an actress. I live where I need to, and mooch off my friends the rest of the time," She said.
"I don't think that's how that works," Rosie said with a laugh.
They got off the plane and through the crowded airport, but not without significant delay as Rosie and Jisoo stopped to meet as many fans as possible. The strangest thing to them was the number of people who gave them Camelia flowers, but Jisoo explained why each girl had a mountain of the pink flowers once they were in the car headed to Rosie's apartment, where Jisoo had taken over the guest room before they went on tour.
"It's because of the rings. We've all been seen with them on; I bet the same thing is happening to Jennie and Lisa." She said, and Rosie nodded, putting the fragrant flowers onto the seat beside her.
"That's sooo sweet," Rosie said, and Jisoo looked at her with a straight face.
"Don't you even think about crying," She said, clearly noticing that Rosie's eyes were watering.
"I'm just worried," she said. "Lisa has so much chemistry with Jennie- and I love Jennie, but I'm worried- they've known each other for so long, and I know Jennie isn't seeing anyone- and Lisa could have anyone she wants, and what if it's not me anymore?" Rosie stammered, and Jisoo pulled Rosie close to her, letting the blonde girl set her head on her shoulder.
"Don't be. Lisa wouldn't call you every night at nine if she didn't care. She's coming here for two whole weeks, and she'll be all yours," Jisoo said. "Don't worry about Jennie- she's seeing someone else." She muttered.
"Someone else?"
"Don't worry about it," Jisoo stammered.
"Chichu," Rosie said, using Jisoo's self-given nickname.
"Pasta." She said.
"Why do you call me pasta? Why not anything else?"
"Why do you call me pastuuur," Jisoo mocked, repeating Rosie's Aussie accent perfectly. The girls erupted into laughter at this, poking eachother. Then Jisoo decided to tickle Rosie with one of the flowers she had accepted, and then the backseat was a mess with flowers everywhere and things thrown.
"Aaand we're here," Rosie said, and the girls picked up everything around them quickly before walking into the cute building Rosie's apartment was in. They got in the elevator with all their suitcases, as Rosie had a policy that they lost Staff at the door, and headed for the third-to-top floor. When they got to her room, however, the door was open. Rosie left her bags in the hallway and reached for her keys. Who was here, and what was going on?
There was a girl in the apartment.
"Hello? Who's there?"
