"Let's go, Boke," Kageyama shouted harshly from the doorway of their apartment. He had a sullen, serious look on his face that most people would be intimidated by, but Hinata just looked up at his boyfriend and gave him a bright smile as he finished tying his shoes.

"I'm coming, Kage-chan."

Kageyama rolled his eyes at the nickname, but Hinata could see in his eyes and knew from experience that his boyfriend actually liked when Hinata called him one of his silly nicknames. Hinata could see a subtle blush steal across his partner's cheeks.

"Don't call me that." He tried to be serious and pull off the act, but he let the corner of his mouth quirk up the slightest bit. Giving in, Kageyama gave the shorter man a little smile. "Come on, Hina-chan," he spoke, deciding to throw in a nickname of his own.

In contrast to Kageyama's reaction, Hinata's smile grew until it took up nearly his whole face. "I love you, Tobio." He ran at his boyfriend and jumped onto his back for a piggy-back ride. Leaning down he kissed the taller man on the cheek.

Blushing again, this time with more fervor, Kageyama muttered back, "I love you too."

Hinata bounced up and down excitedly against his boyfriend's back, squeezing him from behind. Though he didn't sound enthusiastic, Hinata knew that Kageyama was just shy about expressing his feelings, and when he spoke, he meant what he said - even if he said it quietly.

Giving him one more kiss on the cheek, this one a dramatic, noisy smooch, Hinata lifted one hand into the air and called out, "Onward!"

Kageyama rolled his eyes but did what the orange-haired man expected. He shut and locked the door of their apartment, then began walking down the hall, holding onto Hinata's legs to keep him secure against his back. This was such a common occurrence that Kageyama had no problem carrying his boyfriend down the stairs of their apartment building and all the way to their bus stop, of course spending hours playing volleyball each day helped build his strength as well.

On the bus Hinata sat close to his partner, their shoulders rubbing together, and he grabbed Kageyama's hand. The taller man's cheeks flamed as he looked down at his lap, but he let his boyfriend lift their entwined hands and swing them around in front of them. He didn't even stop the small man when he began improvising a song about him, but he did peek up to see the reaction of the other people on the bus.

Most of the passengers had headphones in or were engrossed in themselves and their companions. The few people who did happen to notice Hinata's behavior simply smiled at the couple. Kageyama quickly looked back down, avoiding meeting anyone's gaze.

Holding his head low in order to hide his face, Kageyama was staring down at his boyfriend's legs and his own. He smirked at the man-pris his partner was wearing; the orange-haired man so often wore his pants rolled up high on his calves, and honestly, it was so cute. Sighing in contentment, Kageyama laid his head on Hintata's lap. "You're so embarrassing," he mumbled into the fabric of his boyfriend's sweatpants.
