Chapter 51

That afternoon, Rosé returned home with some 'feather teaser toys' in her bag and great news for her girlfriend.

She wasn't able to take Leo home with her that day as they had tests to run and forms to fill, and even with Rosé being warned about possible difficulties that could occur, she already knew how much Lisa loves the cat and wouldn't waste any time in showing affection to him. Hopefully by next week they would have a bundle of fur running around their apartment.

Rosé made her way up the stairs and opened the door where Lisa was nervously pacing.

"Is Jessi in the hospital?" Lisa asked as soon as she saw Rosé enter their apartment. "Why are you smiling? Rosé what the hell did you do?" The younger girl asked, standing right in front of her girlfriend with a distressed expression on her face.

"I didn't even see Jessi," Rosé mumbled, but for the life of her she couldn't keep the smile from forming on her face.

"So what took you so long?" Lisa questioned, following Rosé as she walked past into the kitchen. As the Unnie walked into the kitchen, she realised that she wanted to do something special to tell Lisa that they were going to adopt Leo.

"I'll be right back!" Rosé suddenly exclaimed, giving Lisa a quick kiss then jogging to her bedroom to get money and then rushing down the stairs without any words of defiance from Lisa.

"Rosé! Wha-" But of course Rosé didn't hear this because by the time that the words slipped out of Lisa's lips, the Unnie was already half way down the stairs.

Rosé jogged down the street until she arrived at the familiar flower shop that she had been to a few times before. She didn't look around that much but picked a bunch of purple flowers, coordinated with cream and yellow petals. She quickly paid the cashier and as she walks out, she pulled the feather teaser out of her bag and placed it in between the flowers.

And within ten minutes, Rosé was back home.

"Oh my God Rosé, you better have a good exc- Flowers! What the hell did you do?" Lisa questioned, as she looked at the bouquet in Rosé's hands.

"Nothing," Rosé said, raising her perfectly sculpted eyebrows slightly. "I mean, not nothing... but nothing bad," She explained, taking a step towards Lisa and holding the bunch of flowers out to her. "For you," Rosé smiled leaning forward to give Lisa a gentle kiss.

"Thank you," Lisa said giving Rosé a weird look before closing her eyes and breathing in the smell of the flowers, but as she opened her eyes, she noticed something in the lining.

Lisa instantly noticed that there was something else stuck than the bunch of flowers.

A feather teaser? The black haired pulled the feather teaser out while Rosé watched with a smile on her face. "Why is there a-" Lisa stopped speaking, she started to realise. "Are you serious?" The black haired asked, her jaw dropping open slightly in surprise.

"I'm serious," Rosé replied, a grin spreading onto her face as Lisa's eyes widened in happiness as well as surprise. Pure joy.

"Oh my gosh! What!?" Lisa exclaimed, jumping and wrapping her legs around Rosé's waist. Rosé easily caught her ecstatic girlfriend, knowing she made the right decision. "I love you so much," Lisa said with love and adoration visible in her.

"I love you more," Rosé said quietly, closing the small gap between the two girls. At first the kisses were delicate, lips lightly pressing against each other. They were tender but passionate gestures, filled with adoration and love.
