The girl next door

Part2

Y/N POV

I am in my room when i hear my mum talking to somebody downstairs. I walk down the stairs and at the door is that girl. The one who saw me looking at her earlier. Well this is kinda awkward. I walk towards my mum. She introduces me to the girl, who is called Kennedy. My mum suggests we try and be friends and that we go to the park. Kennedy says yes, I still had to organise my stuff but I guess that can wait.
I grab my phone and walk out the door with Kennedy. We start to walk in awkward silence, till she starts to ask me questions.
"Hey so I saw you earlier outside my window. What were you doing?"
"Oh I was just walking back from the shop and was looking around and noticed you." I try to play it off as if I totally wasn't looking at her.
"Okay, well anyway tell me why did you move here?"
"Well my mum got a new job at this business here."
"Cool"
We carry on walking till we get to the park.
We sit down on the bench and carry on talking.

Kennedys POV

I asked her a few questions till we got there. We decided to sit down on a bench. After that I started telling her some stuff about me and she told me some more things about her. We have a lot in common actually. We both like music, I play drums and she plays the guitar, we both play a sport, I do basketball she does football (soccer if your American). Suddenly it gets quite chilly. She seems cold so I give her my jacket, and we decide to go back to her house. She seems super nice we are already becoming friends. I tell her a joke she does this cute laugh. She is so pretty, and nice and perfect. Omg Kennedy you only just met this girl and you already like her. She probably doesn't even like girls she probably has a boyfriend or something, I mean how could she not. We arrive at her house and go straight up to her room. First thing i notice is a bi flag above her bed. Well i guess i do have a chance with her :). She sits down on her bed and I sit next to her. She asks me what i want to do, I say I don't mind we end up watching Netflix. I wake up, Y/N is still asleep. We must have fallen asleep while watching the movie. I go to sit up but then i realise her arm is around my waist . She is so cute when she is asleep. I look at my phone. Oh no it's 10pm and I didn't tell my mum i was at Y/Ns. I text my mum to tell her.
<hey mum sorry i forgot to tell you, I am next door at Y/Ns house.>
<don't worry bout it just text me next time.>
<okay mum i will i am sorry>
<it's ok
Do you think you are going to stay much longer or not?>
I look up and see that Y/N has woken up.
"Hello there sleepyhead"
"Hi, we must have fallen asleep, what's the time?"
"It's 10"
"Oh does your mum know you're here?"
"Yes I just texted her saying I was here and she asked how much longer I would be here"
"You can sleep over if you want"
"Ok"
<hey mum I think I am going to sleep over at Y/Ns she said it was ok>
<ok but be home by 1pm tomorrow so we can go the shops together>
<ok goodnight>
"Ok my mum is fine with it"
"Okay I'm going to get us some snacks"
