a couple weeks had went by since the infamous tristan and parker encounter, somehow, tristan had got parker's number, she thinks rory gave him it. although she wasn't exactly complaining. she liked him but they're too different. he is basically like the prince of chilton whereas she is the "blue eyed jock" of stars hollow high, yes, she talked to many people at the school but she's only ever had 2 actually friends, lane and rory. the rest she considers as acquaintances. tristan is royalty and parker is the maid.
tristan, however was not thinking that. when they first met he really liked her. he liked that she was confident and not afraid to put him in his place, she was assertive and she seemed like the type of girl who wouldn't let anyone screw her over. he got rory to give him her number, which he GREATLY appreciated. he loved the way her blue eyes weren't too bright but not too dark, he loved the way her blonde curls sat perfectly on her shoulders, he loved that she didn't care who heard her rant. he wanted to see her again, if only she could answer his several calls or his 20 voicemails.
parker's bio partner dean and her best friend rory are officially dating, and rory couldn't be happier. lane and parker are living vicariously through rory's love life, while lorelai is glad that her daughter's first "boyfriend" seemed pretty much perfect. rory has been talking about the chilton dance ALL week, and she also mentioned that tristan bought 2 tickets, and parker couldn't help but feel the tiniest bit jealous of this girl who gets to go to the dance with the prince of chilton.
once parker got home from the library, she checked her messages, as she usually does, and she hears a message from 'the tristan dugray.'
"hey parker, i'm pretty sure this is the 21st message i've left you, cute voicemail by the way, your voice sounds very masculine, but i don't mind it. anyways there's this chilton dance thing next week and i was wondering if you wanted to go with me, since i bought 2 tickets, but you probably have plans, but if you don't please call me back!" the message ended.
parker smiled, she loved the sound of his voice, so she did what any semi-sane person would do, and she played the message over and over again, getting butterflies when she heard him say "hey parker" and squealed with excitement when he said "i was wondering if you wanted to go with me." she had played the message on repeat for so long that she had forgotten to call him back with an answer.
parker dialled tristan's number, waiting for him to pick up.
"hello?" tristan would say.
"well hello prince chilton." parker would say, giggling.
"oh my god is THE parker maeve johnston calling me back?! is the world about to end?" he joked.
"hopefully not, so basically i got your message about the chilton dance and i would love to go but-" she would be cut off by tristan.
"no! no 'buts' let's just leave it at 'i would love to go', please."
"i promised dean that we would work on our history homework together!"
"he's probably going to be at the dance.. with rory.."
"oh crap yeah- i totally forgot that they were going together, i guess i'm free then!"
"brilliant, i'll pick you up at your house?"
"27 peach street. 7.00pm. if you're late then you missed your chance." parker would smile.
"ok ocean eyes." tristan would say before hanging up.
parker would set the phone back in it's holder, unable to stop smiling, this is weird. she never smiled over a guy before. she always preferred to scare them or intimidate them.
meanwhile tristan would be celebrating, the girl of his dreams had FINALLY called him back and actually accepted his date offer! he felt good, he felt sincerely happy for the first time in years.
but there was one tiny problem, how will parker tell her fiercely overprotective dad that she has a date with a guy who doesn't even live in stars hollow.
author's note eek i love this chapter sm! the reason im writing this fanfic is to give tristan the love and happiness he deserves! im considering either writing a fanfic about mike montgomery (pll) or luna lovegood (hp)
