Archie's POV: It's been a week since I got that letter from Emma. I haven't told Betty yet.. I know I know I should I swear I will..... you know what. I'm going to tell her today, I'm going to invite her over and let her read the letter, I hope she'll believe me.

Archie: Hey Betty! You busy today?

Betty: No I'm still home alone, Joe's been gone a week now. Well he came back when I was asleep and dropped Allie ( Joe and Betty's son in case anyone forgot ) off when I was asleep and put him to bed and then he left again and hasn't returned. Me and Allie are just hanging out right now.

Archie: Oh that sucks I'm sorry to hear that! Do you want to come over with Allie today?

Betty: Sure! Be there in a few :)

Archie: Great! See you two in a few! :)

Not long after the txt conversation ended Betty arrived at Archie's house 20 mins later with Allie asleep in her arms

Betty: * walks in the house and whispers * Hi, where can I put him so he doesn't wake up?

Archie: * whispers back * follow me I'll show you.

Archie walks to Alex's room and opens the door

Archie: * whispering * You can put him on her bed, My daughter Alex went to a sleep over and won't be home for the night.

Betty: * whispers * thank you

She walks into Alex's room and puts Allie on the bed then slowly walks out of the room and shutting the door but leaving it a crack open

Archie and Betty both go and sit on the couch

Archie: Betty, You know how I filed for divorce with Emma?

Betty: Yeah? Why?

Archie: Well the same day I filed for divorce I got the divorce papers back.

Betty: Were they signed?

Archie: Not even... They came in a envelope all ripped up into pieces..

Betty: Oh my! So she's technically still your wife you guys are just separated till she fully signs the divorce papers?

Archie: Yeah, that wasn't the only thing that was in the envelope though.. she sent me a letter Betty and you should read it * grabs the letter from beside him and hands it to her *

Betty: Okay * Opens the letter and starts reading carefully *

She starts to cry as she finishes the letter then she puts it on the coffee table as she sobs and Archie being the caring best friend he is , he goes over to Betty and takes her in his arms and holds her as she sobs

When she stops crying she says

Betty: Archie?... Am I the mother of Alex?

Archie: I have been up all night thinking of it and it's all making sense. Joe's your husband and she said the mother of Alex, is married to Joe.

Betty: * Sits in shock * Oh my god.. I'm 4 months pregnant with a girl and I have a 7 year old daughter but Archie... I only think of you as my best friend.

Archie: That's totally fine because same here but Betty you need to get out of that house. File for divorce with Joe. Stay and move in with me for protection with the kids.

Betty: Wait wait wait! Are you saying I can't protect myself? Because I can protect myself just fine!

Archie: Betty calm down that is not what I'm saying at all. Emma and Joe are going after you and me. She will hurt you if I don't protect you.

Betty: Fine..

A week later Betty is all moved in ( didn't take long she just had to pack clothes and Allies clothes ) and today is the day she is filing for divorce with Joe.

Archie: You ready Betts?

Betty: Yeah I'm ready

* they walk in the court room and get two divorce papers and Betty and Archie signs them then right after they go to the post office and mail the divorce papers to Joe and Emma.

* A week later *

They get the divorce papers back and their both signed

Archie: Betty! We're free! Kind of!

Betty: Thank god! * She hugs him *

Archie: Don't worry at all I will help with everything , Alex , Allie and the baby that will be here soon.

Betty: Thanks Archie!

Archie: You're welcome.
