* 5 Years later *

Alex is now 12 , Allie is now 8 and Annabella is 5

Archie and Betty have been together for 5 years now and one night he gets a group text from two unknown numbers saying

" Be ready , We're coming for you and ur little family "

After getting that text Archie jumps into action tells Betty everything and they both prepare for what is about to happen in this chapter...

* Betty and Archie are just waiting around in the living room , their close to each other but one is at the back door and one is at the front door and the kids are safe with Archie's mom*

BANG BANG BANG!

Joe: * Shouts from outside the door * COME OUT COME OUT WHERE EVER YOU ARE!

Archie backs away from the door knowing Joe is going to break down the door

Joe: * Breaks down the door * Well well well! * Emma follows in behind him * Look Emma.. Jughead was right. THEY DO REMEMBER! * Points a * something * at Betty and pulls the * something * *

Archie Jumps in front of her and takes the * something * for her to the chest and Archie falls to the floor and Betty fights them back so much they go running out of the house then calls 911 for the paramedics and the cops.

( Later at the hospital )

Betty is sitting there in the waiting room and her shirt is covered in blood from Archie and his mom and her mom come running in and they sit with her

Betty: Mom? Mary? Where's the kids

Alice: Their safe with Polly , Juniper , and Dagwood.

Betty: Ok.. I can't believe this happened mom..

Before Alice got a chance to respond she saw the police come up behind her mom and Betty stood up and walked over to them then they told her

Police: Joe and Emma Rogers have been arrested and have gotten the death penalty they won't be able to hurt you or your family anymore.

Betty: Thank you sir.

Police: You're welcome

The police walk away but before Betty could sit down the doctor came out and pulled Betty aside to talk to her

Doctor Smith: When the * something * hit him it hit one of his blood vessels.. we repaired it but Betty I need you to know something..

Betty: * Starts to cry * W...what

Doctor Smith: There is a very low chance that Archie will make it... I want you to prepare urself for that if he doesn't make it.

Betty: * Nods her head and then tries to talk to him through the tears * I..is there a..any chance he could recover?

Doctor smith: The chances of him surviving are slim to none...

Betty: Can I see him?

Doctor Smith: Yeah follow me

Betty follows the doctor to his hospital room and she opens the door and then closes it behind her and sees Archie with a tube in his mouth to help him breath, Betty goes and sits down next to him and grabs his hand and says

Betty: Arch, you have to get better 😭 Please I can't do this without you 😭 I know you can do this * Cries hard * Please...

Few more months pass by and every day Betty ate, showered C and slept at that hospital and prayed for his recovery every day and then one day the doctor comes in the room and called Betty over to where he was standing and she does that
