ochaco wakes up to get ready for work, early she gets there the better but her way out, she hears her phone go off

*bing*

she went to check what it was

2 unread messages: midoriya

ochaco unlocks her phone

midoriya: good morning ⊂◉‿◉つ

midoriya: you're probably still asleep but do you want to meet up today (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

me: maybe tomorrow ('･ω･')

me: I have to work today (￣ｰ￣)

midoriya: that's too bad ヾ｜￣ー￣｜ﾉ

midoriya: see you tomorrow (^▽^)

even if she was off tomorrow she is always on call she could be on a date and have to stop to save the city. well off to work she goes

ochaco gets to the to her hero agency uravity. to be immediately greeted by her best friends tooru and mina

"oh my gosh, what took you long uraraka," mina greeted "did you finally get a boyfriend"

"no" she made it as short and quick as possible

"ooh" hagukure coos in the background "uraraka got a boyfriend"

"NO, I didn't," ochaco defended "I just slept in"

" After spending the night with your boyfriend" mina Supplied

"NO, I had got coffee last night and forgot to ask for decaf" ochaco was getting annoyed why did her friends have to always but in on her life. they shipped her iida when they found out she was dating bakugo, and when she broke up with him they shipped her with todoroki instead. seriously why can't they ship each other if they love shipping so much.

"to stay up late with your boyfriend" tooru instead "so who is the lucky boy"

"Yeah, who is he," mina asked

"NO ONE, damn it" ochaco yelled "why don't you pestered tsu about why she's late and her 'boyfriend' for once, it's always me why don't you ship someone else" pointing out that tsuyu came in a few minutes ago waiting for this to clear up

"wait*ribbit*," tsuyu asks "what did I do *ribbit* to get dragged into this *ribbit*"

"NOTHING," ochaco yelled once more " see what I mean I was minding my own business and just slept in, yet they assume I was having "fun with my "boyfriend"

"that's because tooru saw you with a boy yesterday at the coffee shop"

"so you immediately assume I have a boyfriend" ochaco snapped today was not her day

"I mean yeah, you've been so closed on your love life, me and tooru assumed you had a boyfriend and wasn't willing to tell us" mina explained, "I told tooru to follow you to find out"

"YOU FOLLOWED ME!" she had enough "if you want to know every detail of my life fine! I was going to get some coffee when I bumped into someone and spilled their coffee so I got them new coffee and apologized, there you happy" she left out the details about that she got his number out, so she could be on her way without any more of their shipping and drama

"fine" mina and hagukure said in almost perfect unison

ochaco went to her office and slammed the door shut and almost as soon she sat down there was a knock the door

"go away," she told them

"it's me *ribbit*" tsuyu called behind the door

"come in" ochaco responded, "I'm sorry, I thought you were mina or hagukure"

"what happened earlier *ribbit*," tsuyu asked

"I guess I just snapped" ochaco was finally calming down "they've pestering about getting a boyfriend for so long, I couldn't handle it anymore"

"I understand that *ribbit*," tsuyu told her "they can be a bit *ribbit* annoying sometimes*ribbit* but it's their way of love "

"I know, it's just a bit much tooru literally stalks me because they think I have a boyfriend," ochaco told her bitterly "I just don't find dating necessary unless I actually want to spend my life with them,"

"no *ribbit*, that's not what I mean *ribbit*," tsuyu told her quickly "I'm only saying you snapped *ribbit* so quickly it was surprising *ribbit*"

"either way," ochaco felt much better now "I was cranky and agitated and said some stuff I didn't mean"

"it's ok *ribbit*, if you ever need to talk I'm here" tsuyu went to leave "have a great day *ribbit*"

"you too" I wave goodbye

the rest of the day went like normal, mina and hagukure didn't bring up the boyfriend stuff again. she had to stay a bit late to finish some work and on her way, she saw someone waiting outside, midoriya was waiting outside
