(Y/N) POV
I wander the streets of Hurricane, Utah. Or...I shouldn't say wonder, I'm walking to a friend's house.
His decently sized house comes into view as I almost smash my head off of a power pole.
"That was a close one," I say as I snap back into reality. I notice a missing person poster on the pole
"Mia Poplar, age 17, went missing on September 20th," I read it to myself. She's 17, so she's in my grade...but I don't recognize the name...maybe a new kid?
"It's September 21st, so hopefully they find her soon," I mutter to myself as I continue walking
I approach his door and knock. I wait for a few minutes before someone answers the door
Much to my surprise. Hanna answers the door...and if you don't know who Hanna is your crazy. She's only the most beautiful girl I've seen in my life...honestly, wife material right there...she's easily the girl of my dreams
"Oh, hey Hanna," I say with a blush
"Oh, (Y/N), Dennis told me you were coming over," she says with a smile that's hotter than the sun
"Um yeah," I say as I can't seem to focus on anything so my eyes wander everywhere.
"Come on in," she says as she opens the door and I enter the house
"Meet us upstairs," She says as she goes upstairs as I take my shoes off. I head upstairs to Dennie's room. I've been here a few times...but certainly not with Hanna here
I open the door to see a bunch of kids in a circle around his huge room
"(Y/N) glad you made it," He says as he clears a spot in the circle. I take my spot as he continues talking
"Anyway, Carlton says that Freddie's still stands," he says excitedly
"Freddie's?" I ask confused
"Oh yea, I guess you only moved here two years ago," Dennis says as he laughs a bit
"I forgot about that, anyway, Freddy's is a pizzeria. The plot twist, it has mascots that are robots," he says
"So like animatronics?" I ask as he laughs
"Yea, that's the word," he says as the other kids laugh
"Anyway, it was shut down, and I hear they are still in there," He says smiling
"You want to check them out?" I ask as Dennie's nods
"Denny I don't want to," Hanna says as she clings to him
"Seriously Hanna?" He says
"Yea, dead serious," She says
"Then do we do the same as we did with that chick?" He asks as she smiles. At this point I'm confused
"Ok, then," he says as he turns the rest of us.
"Ok, we are gonna play spin the bottle, but the twist. Whoever it lands on has to stay in that place for a week," Dennis says as he takes a bottle out. The kids start chatting as they watch Dennis spin the bottle. The bottle spins and spins. The people start getting nervous as it slows down.
And when it stops.....it points at me
"Your the lucky winner," he says smirking
"It's just a pizzeria that shut down right?" I ask as Dennis smiles
"The reason it shut down was because 5 children got murdered there...at least that's what I think, either way, they went missing," Dennis says
"Ok," I say slowly
"We'll load you up with food and off you go, don't forget to tell your parents," he says
"Um ok?" I say not realizing what's the big deal
They give me a backpack filled with food. I phone my parents to tell them I'll be staying at Dennie's for the night
"We will drive you to the mall," he says as I end the call
"Ok, you mentioned that someone else was doing this?" I ask as he laughs
"Oh yea, there's this new girl, her name Mia. She used to live here but moved away after the incident," He says
"She was just coming by the town when we meet up. We dared her to go in for the week. Her parents seem to be worried...but shhhhhh. They don't know about it," he says with his finger to his lips
"You don't think her parents should know?" I ask as Hanna pitches in
"She's fine. Her parents can wait," she says smiling
"Um, ok?" I mutter as we get into Dennie's car and start driving. Before I knew it, we were on a gravel road heading to an abandoned mall.
"Come on, " they say as we sneak in through a window.
I read the no trespassing signs before we entered
"Should we be here?" I ask as they laugh
"Of course not," they say as we approach a store
They take a turn down a hallway within the store. It was gloomy, to say the least. On one side the concrete was rough and the other was bricks
"How strange," I say looking at it before we stop before a shelf
"This is it," Dennis says as he shuffles the self over revealing a door
"In you go," He smiles as the door opens slowly. It creaks and screams as the hinges scrape themselves
"Here," Dennis says as he hands me a flashlight
"You might need it, you won't be able to open the door as this heavy shelf is here," he says as he shuts the door, I can hear him move the shelf back and walk away
"That's useful," I mutter as I look around. It was pitch black. I turn on the light. And look around. I was in a hallway. Surrounded by pictures
"I guess this is where I start," I mutter as I get chills
I look at my watch and it's only 8 pm. I should try and find that girl.
I continue walking down the halls.
What I didn't know....is what was coming for me for the next 5 days
