__

It was another uneventful night for spiderman. There were no robberies, no petty thefts, no accidents or anyone who needed saving or help. Swinging to the top of an apartment building he sat down and took off his mask.

Tonight, stars were visible in the sky. Despite the heavy light pollution throughout the city, tonight the sky was filled with glistening stars millions of miles away.

Looking up to the night sky calmed him. It was a rare thing to see the sky filled with stars so he took his time admiring them. It wasn't until something else caught his eye.

Across from the building he was seated on, he noticed the silhouette of a person walking on the edge of the building. Not wanting anything bad to happen to them he threw his mask on and swung his way to the other side of that building.

He stood by the door, not being noticed by the person yet. He watched them as they stepped away from the edge turning around, causing him to hide in the shadows again.

It was a girl. Who looked to be about his age.

She grabbed her phone from her backpack that was placed on the ground and walked back towards the edge. She held her phone up and took a photo of the shining night sky.

"Lovely night isn't it?" He says walking up behind her making her flinch and almost falling over. But before she could, he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her down onto him instead of over the edge.

Looking at her through his mask, the starlight illuminated onto them making her (e/c) eyes glisten when she stared at him. She was staring at him.. But she looked confused, more surprised.

Everything around him went blurry, and he could only hear the soft beats of his heart. He could've sworn she was talking to him. But he was busy staring at her.

"I'm sorry, were you saying something? I just keep getting lost in your eyes." He was proud of himself being able to come up with that on the spot, but his confidence quickly turned to embarrassment after.

"Could you, y'know, let me go?" That was when he realised his arm was still tightly wrapped around her, not letting her get up. Letting go, they both got up dusting themselves off.

"Sorry, for scaring you... and pulling you down"

"No worries. I mean, falling on top of you was better than falling six stories down."

Upon hearing the words fall out of her mouth, the girl quickly realises her mistake and her cheeks flush a soft red tint.

"Sorry! Oh my god, I didn't mean to- I mean- Like say it that way, I- ugh. Sorry."

"Hey, don't worry about it. I know what you mean." She let out a breath of relief, while spiderman was secretly enjoying her flustered state and was having fun teasing her.

"You would rather be on top of me than down on the cold hard ground."

"What! No, not like that-"

"I know, I know. I'm just messing with you. You're cute when you're flustered." He mumbled the last part under his breath.

"Sorry?"

"Nothing. It was nothing. The stars look amazing tonight." He tried to change the subject.

"Yeah, they look beautiful." In the boys' mind, she was right. The stars did look beautiful, but they weren't the only things he was admiring at that moment.

After spending a few moments together, looking up at the sky in a comfortable silence, the girl spoke up.

"Sorry, I should go now. I have somewhere I need to be tomorrow, so I should get some sleep."

"Yeah, of course. I'll see you around yeah?" He questioned. Wanting to spend more time with the girl.

"Of course, but right now... I think the city needs saving, spider-boy." She giggled, the sound of something he'd want to hear more.

"It's uh, spiderman."

"Goodnight spiderman!"

It's been a few days since Peter had seen that girl on the roof during his daily patrol. He'd never seen her before, not at school or around the city so he assumed she was new.

Today, Peter was headed up to Stark Towers as he was called by Mr. Stark for help on his new suit. Walking in the commons room, he saw Mr. Stark working on the suit.

"Hey Mr. Stark!" The boy cheered.

"Hey kid."

"Not working in the lab today?" Peter questioned.

"Nope, decided to bring it out here today. I have someone important coming up to help with the suit." Mr. Stark informed.

Peter was quite surprised but excited to see who would help with designing his suit. Not a long time after, the elevator doors opened, and out stepped Pepper and a (h/c) haired girl who had familiar (e/c) eyes.

Peter was indeed in for a treat.

"Hey guys! Peter, this is my niece, Y/N."
