Tuesday passed by pretty easy without any fights or arguments which was surprising to many students that would have the time to stand still and notice that the two weren't at each other's throats. Taehyung and Jungkook weren't annoying each other, they even went as far as to share looks, which was kind of unusual and got the school shocked, though in a good way. The duo used to be very popular and loved by both girls and boys due to their friendliness and silliness. Seeing that they aren't fighting any more caused many suspicions under students, and when our dear lesbian Tzuyu saw the two nod friendly at each other when they passed one another, she decided to come up with her own little story.
As she turned around to look at the two, Taehyung the one coming her way, she noticed the slight smile on his face, and he saw Jungkook's happy walk. It was something she always noticed back when they were best friends. So with this, she grinned and turned back to Sana. "Say, I feel like those two are finally growing up," She commented, which earned a raised eyebrow by the petite brunette walking next to her.
"How come you think so?" She asked, finally turning around to face the two as well. She saw Taehyung smiling too. And he wasn't focussed on Tzuyu for once. Must have something incredibly good on his mind then, for him not to dramatically wave at her and crave her attention...
"Jungkook's happy skips, and Taehyung is grinning. They nodded at each other, and if I may believe the students, they haven't fought either. Maybe they're getting back what we used to think was lost... I'd love to see them be best friends again," she finally stated, before turning back to Sana and walking into school with her.
Hours flew by, it seemed as if the clock ticked quicker just for them. Jungkook glanced at the clock in the classroom once, looked outside at the old tree, and when he glanced back, 20 minutes had passed. He blinked, once, twice, thrice, and then, another five minutes had passed. He was surprised at how fast time ticked by. So wanting to catch the time move on, his eyes fixated onto the clock. But even then, he zoned out. When he went back into focus, it was by the sound of chairs scraping against the floor. He cringed at the loud noises that errupted from the class, students packing their bag and practically running out of the class. Jungkook rolled his eyes at that, and left the class as well.
It was his last class, so he made his way to his locker and grabbed his jacket before closing it and walking out of the school. It was 4 PM at this time, and since it was winter, the sun was setting fairly quick. In an hour, the world would be engulved in the darkness of what lies beyond the sun's rays of light. His steps were slow, and his breathing was slow and hot. He had come up with all kinds of scenarios of how tomorrow would play out. It could go wrong, right, and it could even bloom a new flower, a symbol for their newfound peace and will to grow.
He grabbed his key out of his pocket and was about to unlock his bike, when he felt a small hand stop his arm. He turned around, and saw Tzuyu's serious face staring at him, her dark eyes piercing through his own. Behind her, he noticed a nervous Sana watching mostly Tzuyu. She looked unsure of what Tzuyu was doing, if she was honest.
"What's wrong?" Despite his attraction towards Tzuyu fading, he will always stay kind to her no matter what. She's a sweet soul, and Jungkook has accepted defeat toward Sana. That's probably why she seems cautious of Jungkook, she's scared Jungkook still has feelings for Tzuyu, her crush and almost girlfriend. He finally understood, and offered Sana a sweet smile. This seemed to chill her out.
The tall female stared into his eyes before responding. "It's Yoongi, Taehyung's best friend. He would like to talk to you, in the park. Right now. He just texted me," The tall brunette said before mumbling an apology for bothering him and quickly walking off with Sana.
Jungkook sighed. If he wanted to talk to the young ravenette, it probably meant he also saw how Taehyung and him weren't fighting. Taehyung would've high-likely explained, so what could he possibly want with Jungkook now?
He decided he wanted answers, so he grabbed his bike and cycled to the park. The air was cold and sharp. It felt as if the cold was cutting his cheeks, making them color a rosy pink, fingertips slowly freezing and lips turning blue at the cold wind. It wasn't even snowing yet- hell it was barely even winter, feeling like autumn still hadn't left completely. You can't change seasons from one day to the other, as how the seasons worked according to humans, although mother nature had decided to let the seasons pass on their own tempo. In Jungkook's head, that meant this was the end of the autumn, and winter slowly creeping in.
Once he arrived, it was already getting dim, so he hopped off his bike and locked it, pushed it against the tree before calling out to Yoongi. The place was empty either way, so he wasn't disturbing anyone. "Yoongi? What's up?" He asked, looking around for any sign of life, as he quickly got shushed by said male, who was ready to scold the younger for disturbing nature, and saying something along the lines of finally being able to meditate until he showed up.
"Come on," He said, and motioned for Jungkook to follow him. The whole atmosphere was awkward, because they weren't really friends anymore. They used to be close, their whole group was, until they had to pick sides because of Taehyung and Jungkook's childish fight. Yoongi chose Taehyung's side, and this had affected their friendship to the point of them being only acquintances with bad blood in 'em.
Once they settled down on a small bench, Yoongi taking the far left side of it, so Jungkook took the far right, silence settled in between them. They enjoyed the absolute silence of nature, with the background noises of a busy marketstreet. It got later and later, and darker and darker, until the streetlights turned on. That's when Yoongi looked over at Jungkook, who looked at him as well.
"So... I heard that you and Taehyung want to make up?" He started.
"Yeah, I really do. It's time for us to move on."
