Chapter 21, Crash

"What! Is Taehyung alright!?" Taeyeon was on the phone with Jungkook, she just found out her brother and Jeongguk got in a car accident.

A few minutes later, Taeyeon ran inside the hospital to see Jungkook waiting for her. Jungkook takes her to the room and when she walked in, she ran to Taehyung.

Hugging him tightly, "Oh my god, I thought I would lose you Tae," Taeyeon said with tears in her eyes.

Hugger her back, "I-if I looked... th-this wouldn't have happened," Taehyung whimpers.

She leans back and wipes her eyes, "what do you mean? And where is Jeongguk?" she asked and Taehyung looked at the curtains that were closed on the other side.

Jungkook opened the curtains and Taeyeon gasped as Taehyung cried, seeing the sight that was in front of him. Jeongguk had casts on both legs and his right arm as he had tubes connected to his body. An oxygen tube connecting to his nose to help him breathe.

Jungkook walked over to Taehyung and sat on the bed next to his boyfriend to comfort him. Taehyung only had scratches on his body, nothing broken.

"Wh-what happen?" Taeyeon asked once Taehyung was passed out on Jungkook's lap, he fell asleep crying in Jungkook's arms.

So Jungkook told her what happened.

Taehyung and the twins just went on a date, skipping happily as the Jeon's twins followed the cute happy boy. Tae turns around to look at them with a big smile, "let's go to the dog park, it's only across the street," Taehyung said, pointing at the dog park.

Jungkook nods, "Look both ways," he said as he stops to buy some candy for them.

Taehyung did look but he did not notice a speeding car was coming as he started walking across the road. He turned around when he heard Jeongguk yelling his name and that's when Taehyung noticed the car that slammed on their breaks. Tae was frozen like a deer.

The car could not stop in time and Jeongguk pushed Taehyung out of the way but he did not make it out. His leg hits the front of the car as his body rolls over the car and he lands on the hard ground.

Taehyung screams as he runs to Jeongguk as well as Jungkook (kook did not scream tho). The twin was opening his eyes and there was a lot of blood, the driver got out and called the cops.

After hearing the story, Taeyeon was happy that Jeongguk saved Taehyung but she was also sad that Jeongguk got badly hurt.

"Jungkook!?" Junghyun came as soon as he heard the news, "are they okay!?" he asked but he then saw them, Taehyung asleep in Jungkook's arms and Jeongguk asleep on the other side.

Taeyeon looks at Junghyun, "Junghyun," she said and Jungkook was Jungshook, how does Tae's sister know his brother?

"I'm glad that our brothers will be okay," Junghyun said, "and Taeyeon don't worry about the hospital bill, I'll take care of that."

The doors open again and Taeyeon's eyes widen, at the sight she sees, "m-mother!?" she stutters.

"They called and told me that Taehyung got hurt, is he okay?" she Hayoon asked with worry in her eyes.

Taeyeon stood up, "ah so now you care about us after all these years," she said, glaring at her mother.

Hayoon sighs, "I've always loved you both," she said and Taeyeon rolled her eyes.

"Let's take this out, Taehyung is sleeping," Taeyeon pushes Hayoon out of the room, Jungkook and Junghyun look at each other.

"You said that you love us both, that's a big lie Hayoon," Taeyeon said, not calling her mother anymore.

Hayoon felt hurt when her first child called her by her name, "I'm sorry for what I did... I want to make it up to you both," she explains.

Taeyeon rubs her forehead, "You almost killed Taehyung when you found out you were pregnant!" she raised her voice. Jungkook and Junghyun heard her and they looked at Taehyung.

Feeling tears in her eyes already, "I was scared! I didn't know what I was thinking but I am happy that I had him," Hayoon said.

Shaking her head, "no.. no you didn't. When you gave birth to him, you left him with grandma, you never came a lot to see us, always going out partying. Then when Grandma died, I had to take care of Taehyung as you went around and fuck!" rage was all Taeyeon could feel right now.

"Then we were taken because you were a piece of shit of a mom and Taehyung and I were separated. I had to work hard and when I was of age, I took Taehyung back... Do you know how hard it was for me too?" Taeyeon asked, tears in her eyes, "I work all the damn time... I never had the chance to be a kid because I had no choice to grow up and take care of Taehyung. I made sure that Taehyung had a better life."

Hayoon bites her lips, she didn't know what to say, "Do you even know who Taehyung's dad is!?" Taeyeon asked and Hayoon shook her head. "That's because you were fucking drunk and grandma had to get you from the police."

"I-I" Hayoon stutters, words not coming out as tears fall down her cheek.

"Y-you know what..." Taeyeon said as she wiped her eyes, "I want you to leave... you are no longer our mother, Hayoon!"

And that's when Hayoon breaks down, falling to the floor as she cries, "Pl-Please, give me another chance Taeyeon!" she begs.

Taeyeon shook her head as she opened the door, "I already had so many chances to become a better mother and you never took them... Once I walk in here, you will be a stranger to me," she said as she walks into the room and shuts the room.
