chapter 13, The Past

Hello and sorry for the late update!

But this part will be in the past, talking about Taehyung and Taeyeon growing up. 

I will not say who they made friends with just what their mother did and what the two had to go through.

Taehyung's mother was not a good person and his sister is his half sister because they don't have the same father. It was a long time ago, when Miss. Kim was at a party and met someone, ended up sleeping with him and a couple of weeks later she found she was pregnant again.

She had another kid already which was Taehyung's sister and she was 3 or 4 years old when Taehyung came to this world. The mother was only in her early 20s and was staying at her mother's house.

Her daughter was living with her mother so Miss. Kim never really saw her child but now she will be having another kid. She didn't want to have a baby so she was thinking of getting rid of the baby that was growing inside.

One day she was on her way to go to the doctors but she ran into someone, her big brother.

"What are you doing here?" he asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"... nothing... what are you doing here?" She asked, she was hiding the reason why she was there.

"Don't lie to me, I know why you are here," her brother sighs, "and I won't allow you to kill that baby because that is just horrible, if you don't want the baby, just do what you did with Taeyeon and give the baby to mother," he explains and she bites her lip.

So her brother was a doctor there and stopped his sister from doing something bad but he felt bad that his little sister was like this.

Then the day came where the baby was about to be born in this world, the mother was laying on the bed, screaming in pain as the grandma held her hand and the brother was outside of the room with Taeyeon.

After a while, the baby boy was born into this world and Taeyeon met her lil brother for the first time and saw her mother. She was 3 or 4 but she didn't really love her mother because of what she did.

Years had passed and Taehyungs and Taeyeon's grandma had died, Taehyung was 10 and Taeyeon was 13 years old. Their grandma was the one that took care of them as their mother was never around. The both of them didn't even know their father and barely knew their mother.

The only time they did get to see their mother was when she needed something from her mother, their grandmother. But since their grandmother is dead, their mother had to take care of them now.

The apartment they were staying at was a mess and small, Taeyeon and Taehyung cleaned up the place. Taehyung was not happy and Taeyeon was not as well but she fake being happy so her little brother won't be sad.

"Taehyung, no matter what happens, I'll never leave your side, I promise," she said as she makes their beds in the living room.

Taehyung looked at her and smiled big, "I'm glad," he said with the biggest smile on his face.

But one day, Taeyeon broke that promise that she made to Taehyung...

There was a knock on the front door, their mother was not home as she was probably out drinking like she always is. So Taeyeon answered the door and there was a young lady that was dressed nicely.

"Hello, are you Miss. Kim *beep*?" asked the lady at the door as she looked at a tablet that was in her hands.

Taeyeon shakes her head, "no, my mother is not home right now but will be later," she explained as she let the lady inside the place.

Taehyung was drawing a picture as the TV played a movie. The two of them sat in the living room.

"You must be Kim Taehyung, you're so cute," the lady said as she ruffled Taehyung's hair.

Taehyung giggled softly, "thank you," he said with a soft smile as he stopped drawing.

"I came here to take you both with me, your mother can't take good care of you both and Taehyung needs proper schooling," she said, "and look at you both, what have you been eating?" she asked.

"Take out but it's hard because most of the money I get from my job goes to bills," Taeyeon explained.

So Taehyung and Taeyeon left their mothers house to an orphanage, they didn't fight back because they were together. Their mother didn't really care about them leaving.

3 years later...

"Taehyung this family wants to take you in," the lady said as she takes Taehyung to meet the family, he was happy but he didn't see his sister at all, he haven't seen her all day,

"Where is Taeyeon?" he asked as he looked up at her.

"... She is in an all girl school..." she said and Taehyung's eyes started to water up.

"S-she promised me that she w-would be by my side... why would she leave me?" he stutters as tears fall down his cheek.

Taeyeon was sent to an all girl school at the age of 16, she didn't want to go but she had no choice but to go and Taehyung was taken by another family so the two of them were separated.

3 years later...

Taeyeon is now 19 years old and Taehyung is 16 years old.

"I want my brother!" Taeyeon raised her voice as she slammed a piece of paper on the front desk. "I came here to take him."

Taeyeon left school and got herself a job then bought a place to live at and now was going to get her little brother.

"Taeyeon!" Taehyung yelled with water eyes as he ran up to his sister and jump in her arms.

"Taehyung! I'm so sorry for leaving you without saying anything but I'm here now and I won't leave you again," she said as she hugs her little brother tightly.

She worked hard because she was not going to give up, she made a promise to her brother and broke it so that's why she tried her hardest.

They don't need their mother because Taeyeon had taken that role and has been taking care of Taehyung as if he was her son.
