Chapter 23, Jackson

So Taehyung graduated and the Twins passed their grade which means it was summer break. Jeongguk has been taking these sessions where he trains himself to walk again, it was hard at first but he had a lot of help. Taehyung and Taeyeon moved in with Joonwoo and Munjin, they were so nice and Taehyung was happy that he had more family members.

Jackson had also come back, he graduated too but there was something different about him, through the graduation, he didn't hold any emotion and even ignored Taehyung.

Waking up to the sound of the text message, Taehyung looked at his phone and saw it was from Jackson.

Jackson

Jackson: Can you meet me at XXX don't worry I won't try anything

Taehyung didn't even text him back but he got up and gets dressed, it was the middle of the night. He made sure he brought something to defend himself with just in case Jackson does try something. Leaving the house without Joonwoo or anyone knowing that he left since they are asleep.

Jackson was swinging on the swings when Taehyung walked up to him, "what do you want, Jackson?' he asked, looking at the male.

Jackson stops swinging and hops off the swing, not even walking close to Taehyung, Jackson did something that took Taehyung of guard. Jackson went down on his knees and bows in front of Taehyung, hands on the ground with his forehead resting on them.

"I am so so so sorry Kim Taehyung, I know what I did to you was horrible and you may not forgive so I have made up my mind to leave," Jackson said, not looking up at Taehyung.

"Jackson, please don't bow, stand up," Taehyung said and Jackson stood up, looking at Taehyung.

"Taehyung... Do you remember when we were young, we were so close but then one day at races, you fell off the playground and busted your head? After that day, I never saw you again and I heard you lost some of your memories," Jackson said and Taehyung looks down.

"I do remember... the car accident I got in with Jeongguk, my memories of us being friends came back," Taehyung explains and Jackson smiled softly.

"Which means you have some good memories of me," he said and he walks up to Taehyung, "I'm leaving Korea in the morning, I'm moving to the USA with my father and Hayoon," he explains, and Taehyung nods.

So Jackson left and Taehyung stood there, "this was the playground that we played at as little kids," he mumbles as he runs his hands along the railings as he walked up the little stairs. "I slipped and fell right here," he chuckled as he sat down on the edge and swung his feet.

Taehyung giggled as he was playing tag with Jackson, the two of them running around as the other kids were just doing their own thing. Jackson tags Taehyung and he runs away so Taehyung can't tag him.

"Come catch me!" Jackson stuck his tongue out and Taehyung pouted.

"No fair, you are so much faster than me!" Taehyung pouts and Jackson just laughs.

Taehyung ran up on the playground, chasing Jackson but he slipped and fell, Jackson turned around when he heard Taehyung yell and his eyes widened.

"I-I couldn't catch him," Jackson stuttered as a teacher held the boy back and the other teachers were at Taehyung. They stopped the bleeding on the boy's head but the boy was waking up and a teacher had to drag Jackson away.

"Taehyung!" Jackson yelled as he was being dragged. A few minutes later, he watched Taehyung being put in an ambulance and after that day, Jackson never saw Taehyung since the boy was put in a new school.

Jackson went back home, "this will be best for me if I leave Korea," he mumbles but he felt tears fall down his cheek, "I wish we could have become best friends again," he said.

Taehyung was sitting on the bench as the other kids played, it was recess and the teachers were watching the little kids play. Taehyung didn't have any friends since he never made any and with how his family was at home.

But then a boy walks up to him with a smile on his face, "Hello, I'm Jackson," the little boy said, looking at Taehyung.

Taehyung looked up at him, "T-Taehyung," he stuttered, looking down.

"Let's be friends Taehyung," Jackson said as he sat next to Taehyung, "Your cute!"

Taehyung blushed, still not looking at him, "th-thank you," he mumbles and Jackson ruffles the boy's hair.
