fiko week one shots

Day 4-A

Sick day
AN: these stories actually connect to each other so, it's more like a two parter. Also in this story miko and five art already married and in their mid-twenties.

It was a lovely Monday morning, five already up and early making breakfast for him and miko considering it's his turn to cook today. Mostly him and miko take turns and it was something the young married, couple enjoy doing in the morning.
Back at the bed room miko wakes up feeling groggy more than usual almost nauseous, but power's through it getting up well more like crawling out of bed. She manages to make her way to the kitchen to greet five, trying to hide her sudden queasy - ness. "Morning miko" five greeted with a peck on mikos cheek, "morning" miko greeted back with a kiss of her own. Once they were seated they ate breakfast, miko immediately noticing something off with the food the second it lands on her tongue. It starts to become evident across her features, catching fives eye, "hey honey... are you trying something new with the recipe?" Miko said tasting the food. No why five answered looking worried "nothing i think it just me", then suddenly miko makes a mad dash for the kitchen and starts heaving into the sink while five comes to her aid.

After what went down miko was asked to stay at home while five was at work, worried for five asked mikos sister lexxi to take care of while he was gone thankfully lexxi was free that day and offered.
Once work was done five was welcomed by a happy yet somewhat still nauseous miko embracing him with open arms, after thanking lexxi and sending her off miko and five tried to have some down time but, it's disturbed by mikos sudden waves of nausea. Only after two weeks and showing little signs of improving, five urges miko to see a doctor. "This looks serious miko, i think we should go see a doctor" five said whilst gently rubbing mikos back as she heavies out what could be her dinner into the bowl.

Once at the doctors office they relayed the dilemma to the doctor, and she got to work running some test and asking further questions when did this happen and if had last checked her time of the month.
Afterwards the doctor asked for miko and five to wait for a moment while she goes through her notes, leaving the young married couple alone with their thoughts. Mikos mind starts racing if the whole thing really is this serious, if it could lead into something worse.
Moment's later the doctor returns with the results, "tell me doc is it anything... serious" miko asked sounding concern "no it's not, actually I'm not sure it's something we should discuss with your husband here" the doctor said. "It's okay, it's better if he know first hand he's bound to find out eventually" miko said holding fives hand tightly.
"I don't think I should call it serious,mostly since you're only two weeks in" the doctor said looking over her clipboard. "What's that supposed to mean?" Five said sounding worried, " well Mr nieves your wife's pregnant by about two weeks from what I'm seeing" the doctor making her way to the shelves to collect the medication needed. Five looked absolutely shocked by the news, almost in disbelief. While Miko on the other hand was lost on how she should feel about all this.
After the doctor them her prescriptions they mostly road home in silence until making it to the apartment, once they were there miko simply sat on the couch hands on her lap shaking noticing this five sat beside her placing his hand on hers.
"Five i don't think we're ready for this, i mean you finally got this big job opportunity, and, and - miko was hushed by a finger to her lips and a hug from five. Hey, hey it's okay miko. Besides this was bound to happen at some point it just happened a lot sooner than we thought." Five said holding miko closer he continued "we're miko and five remember if we can handle glitches, we can definitely handle parenting". "I, guess your right" miko said already hugging back, their foreheads touching five quietly exclaims "we're having a baby" "yes, we are" miko said softly with a kiss to fives lips.
