Plz look at my digital art of Jaime (btw I can't draw faces). When words are in italic then Jaime has texted them. It is how she speaks to people. Always assume she has showed it to the person
Jaime put down the 60 lbs weight. She was training again with her instructor, Chelsea. Chelsea seemed a bit off today, but Jaime couldn't quite pinpoint exactly how.
She moved on to the treadmill now. She wanted to run about 15 kilometres. Pushing her body to the limit is exactly what she intended to do in today's 13 hour training session. It was a Saturday and no-one was at the gym except Jaime.
"Run!" coached Chelsea. "Faster!"
Jaime now picked up the pace. To be honest, she was really just marking time rather than actually trying. If she was trying, she would be doing a lot faster."Stop! shouted Chelsea. "Time for swimming.
Jaime absolutely hated swimming. Not the actual sport - that was fun. She just felt vulnerable because drone could see her body. People normally got scared of her pupil-less eyes (she can still see) and her face, but now they could see her disgusting leg scars as well.Chelsea blew her whistle and Jaime started doing laps of the pool. The pool was 25 metres long by 15 metres wide. On average, she did five laps - 400 metres - but today she wanted to go big and do not 6, but 7 metres. She whizzed round the pool today, and got out quickly in time for swordfighting.
Swordfighting!
Jaime typed. She lead Chelsea to the room where they always did swordfighting, and they started to train.
______________________________________Matt was having a very bad day. His parabatai, Rowan, was being a complete idiot. He was hungover (again) and he just would not get out of bed. Honestly! He was a shadowhunter! He's supposed to be training, not napping.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
The institute's alarm was going off - a powerful demon was in the area.
"Rowan! If you don't get your ass out of bed right now...!" grumped Matt.
Rowan jumped (finally!) out of bed and they both started towards their main computer."It's at... The gym!?" exclaimed Rowan.
"Well let's get going then. What are you waiting for?!" Matt retorted.
The gym was just down the road so luckily they didn't have to get a taxi. Taxis were just unreliable, especially in New York. They sprinted to the gym. The door was locked, so Matt put a quick unlocking rune on it and they both made their way inside. The sensors said the demon was in the swordfighting room. Not really surprising though - it needed a weapon.
Rowan broke into the room and announced theatrically "Do not fear mundanes we-"
And he stopped startled. Matt followed him in and was frozen with shock. A mundane was beating the demon and was playing...
"Wait is that mundie beating a demon and playing FLIPPING GARDENSCAPES!" Shouted Matt.
______________________________________Jaime was slightly confused. Chelsea has morphed into a disgusting THING so Jaime was attacking it, whilst playing Gardenscapes because she was so bored. Then, two utter imbeciles burst into the room and we're going to 'save' her!
Jaime put a finger to her lips before stabbing the thing that was once Chelsea in the heart.
"Who the hell are you!?" asked one of them. He had piercing blue eyes and red-ginger hair and, Jaime realised with a jolt, he didn't look away when he looked her in the eyes through her mask
I'm not talking to you
The other boy, with pale brown hair and emerald green eyes, was tapping his foot impatiently on the floor. There was a whispered conversation between them and a shared confused look."We're taking you to the institute," the first boy announced.
At that, Jaime fell to the floor, letting unconsciousness envelop her in its tight grip.Hey! Hope you enjoyed. Please comment!
Thanks,Tilly
