"Ladies and gentleman this is your captain speaking. We will be landing in about an hour." The microphone clicks off.

I turn to the lady beside me.
"You ready?" I ask her

She looks up at me. "You can not believe. I never wanna forget this, Keegan."

I place my hand on her thigh and rub it lightly. Offering her a relaxed smile.
"What do you want to do when we get there, May?" I ask her after a brief pause.

"Oh my gosh Keegan! We should go snorkeling, and lay in hammocks, and tan, and and-"

"Hahaha, someone's really excited."

"Honesty if you were in my head right now, it would be like a bunch of six year olds at a birthday party, hyped up on cake."

She looks at me, with her eyes sparkling and I can't help but think I'm the luckiest man in the world.

"I'll be right back," I say as I pat her leg "gotta use the bathroom."

She giggles and moves her legs so I can cross.

The flight attendant in the back starts making eyes at me, but I know to pay no attention to her. I already have the best woman a man could ask for.

So, I turned around and whisper yelled to May.

"Hi love." I said as I blew her a kiss.

That shut the flight attendant up.

Once I finish in the bathroom I head back to our seats. May is waiting for me patiently.

"Do you remember how we first met?" She asks with a smile on her face.

"Hmm, if I can remember correctly, it was you that asked for my number." I respond

"Nuh uh! You so asked for mine! Madison forced me to come on a date with her. I was really nervous because she said her date was bringing someone for me." She shot back

"Nervous? About me?"

"I didn't know you at the time. I mean, I had seen you in school."

"Well, when I walked in I was completely breath taken. By the most beautiful piece of art I had ever seen."
She began to blush as I talked.

"I mean who knew Van Gogh could paint that great!?" Her face changed from a smile to a serious glare.

"I'm kidding beautiful. It was you. I was distracted by you, and only you."

"And our first date. To the park, and you stepped in dog poop!"

"That ruined a perfectly good pair of shoes. So you shouldn't be laughing"

"Oh but it was so funny, Keegs. Because then a frisbee hit you smack tab in the center of the forehead."

"I bet you thought I was so stupid."

"How could I think that! I was the one who the dog urinated one!"

I laughed. "I do remember that. And then I carried you all the way back to your house because your shoes were all wet."

"Mhm. And that was the first time you kissed me."

Madison turned around in her chair. "Ohhhh do tell more. Did you guys have some fun after that. I mean you were already at her house, Keegan."

"What!? No, I actually respect her and her morals about not doing any of that."

"Awwwww, keegs." She blushed

"Get a room you two love birds. I do not want to be hearing this for another hour. Like seriously. You are like one of those couples from the movies." She huffed.

"Well the bathroom is always open." I said winking at May.

Madison responded before May had the chance to. "Oh god no! Please no!"

May looked at me with a disgusted face.

"What's wrong hun, you wanted to?"

"Ewww. That's the last thing I would want to do. You just said you respected my morals." She laughed, punching me in the arm.

I laughed. "I'm kidding, May" I said as I I grabbed her face and kissed her. She wanted to pull away, but I could feel the smile on her lips so I kept going.

Every breath we took she was able to say "stop" but she just kept laughing. I started to sloppily kiss her all over the face which made her laugh even more.

"Stop, keegan. Stooooppppp." She laughed out.

"I love your laugh, it's the prettiest thing I have ever heard.

"What's with you being all lovey dovey?" She smirked

The plane jerked.

"This is your captain speaking. Please fasten seat belts and secure everything."

The plane dove nose down.

The speed was quickening.

I looked over at May who seamed so petrified.

I entangled my hands with hers and pulled her close.

The plane kept diving.

Faster and faster.

You never know when your last moment with someone will be.
