Abandon

Ryu's POV

Blood dripped onto the floor as she twisted the blade. I couldn't use my augmentation or the entire station would blow up.

"Fuck you..." I winced in pain

"You already have." she said

"Dammit not in that way." I groaned

She pulled out the blade but stabbed it in a different area of my stomach. I coughed out blood as she pushed the blade deeper. My head was leaning against Demon's shoulder so as a last resort I bit her ear. She yelped in pain but I completely bit off her ear and she stumbled back, letting go of the blade. Blood dripped out of her side but then it slowly regenerated back into a full new ear. I spit out her ear and blood mixed with mine as she stood up and glared at me.

"You little shit." growled Demon

But I only bit her ear to give me some time to warn my team. I smiled and chuckled a bit for being able to outplay her a bit but I gasped as she kicked the blade deeper and I felt it pierce out through my back. I clutched my stomach as blood trickled down the cut of the blade.

Demon then turned me around and pulled the blade out from my back and I screamed in pain. I collapsed onto the ground clutching onto the cut but she placed her foot on my cut and applied pressure causing me to vomit blood.

"Ryu!"

Lydia came in and swung her sword at Demon but she threw the sword at her but Lydia blocked it with her sword. Kishimoto came and helped me up while Lydia held her off but Lydia was punched and kicked onto me and Kishimoto.

"Three augmenters against one." said Demon, "Doesn't seem fair, you should have brought more."

"Let's get out of here, we're abandoning this station." whispered Kishimoto

Kishimoto drew his nagamaki and pointed the tip to Demon.

"You two go, I'll hold her off." said Kishimoto

"That's suicide." I whispered

"Doesn't matter." said Kishimoto

"It'll be useless if we run. She'll catch up." I said

I slowly got up but collapsed onto one knee.

"She wants me, let her take me." I whispered

But then Kishimoto and Lydia were hit by the air and were sent flying backwards except for me. Demon approached me but I didn't back up, I knew there was no point in running. She kneeled in front of me and looked at my wound and pulled my hands away.

She then placed her hands on the wound and I felt something warm and nice and the pain went away. I looked down as she pulled away and my cut was no longer there.

"Huh? How? I mean why?" I asked

"Cause killing you isn't my priority." she replied, "Keeping you alive is."

She walked away and the black mist teleported her away leaving me confused.

"What the..." whispered Kishimoto

"That little bitch." growled Lydia, "What was the point of killing everyone in here?"

I got up as I kept checking my wound.

'What is she trying to do?'

"I need to go meet with her." I said, "Alone."

I ran to the transport room and teleported myself to hell back inside the castle.

"Demon! I want to talk!" I called out

She came out looking confused but when she saw me she smiled.
