Ryu's POV

"That'll be it for today, if you have any questions please stay behind if not you can leave." said the professor

I left the zoom meeting and sighed. Online meeting was pretty bland and boring since it's not that engaging. I quickly logged into my computer and waited for my next class to start.

It's been 2 months since the last time I saw Demon. I haven't heard from her over the past two months and it kind of hurt since I still love her. Kishimoto and Lydia try to visit as much as possible but they've been busy trying to track down Demon so you could say most of my time I forgot about the MVA.

And over the past two months, I've been jerking off. It's basically my replacement of cigarettes since jerking off also relieves me from my stress. I haven't touched cigarettes in so long but I don't really want it since it can kill me.

My mom's been asking me if I'm okay since I haven't been acting like myself the past months. But I don't really know how to explain all the shit I went through so I just stayed quiet and continued feeding her lies. I never thought that lying would save me in a situation but it was my only chance to keep my mom safe. But part of me hated myself for lying to her, well I've always hated lying to my mom.

"Hey there Ryu." said my professor

He wakes me up from my daydream and I sat up straight.

"There's no class today so you can hop off if you want to." he said

"Oh okay." I replied

"Remember that school will reopen next week." he said

"Understood, have a good day." I said

"You too, take care." he replied

I left the meeting and jumped on my bed. I grabbed my phone and scrolled through instagram until I got a notification saying that there has been some strange climate change all over the world but it could be ignored since it's not catastrophic.

'How can climate change be ignored?'

I sighed and got up, my mom was watching the news on TV about the climate change.

"Hey mom, want to go out for dinner?" I asked

"Oh you're done with your classes?" she asked as she turned off the TV

"Yea but do you want to go out for dinner?" I asked

"Yes that'll be nice. I haven't had food outside in so long." said my mom

"What do you want to eat?" I asked, "Korean food? Italian food? Chinese food?"

"I want some pasta today." she said

"Okay, I'll pay mom." I said

"No no no, I'm paying." she said

"Mom I have money, I'm paying this time." I replied

She slightly puffed her cheeks in defeat but nodded. I went back into my room and started scrolling through youtube, watching documentaries of aliens, ever since MVA I believed in aliens and all that shit so I like to watch documentaries about what we found out so far.

I looked at the time and gasped. It was 5:30 and the Italian restaurant gets crowded fast around 5:45. I grabbed my wallet, my phone and my car keys.

"Mom, get ready." I called out

"I'm already ready." she said

We enter our car and I start the car and drive towards the best Italian restaurant in town. When we got there I had to park two blocks away because it was slightly crowded. When we got to the front entrance they told us to wait ten minutes and we'll be able to get a seat.
