The brown eyes are unfazed as I take in his thoughtful stare. His lips even dare to turn up in a handsome smirk. There's no denying this boy is gorgeous and he is fully aware of it.
The bell rings shattering me out of staring at the mysterious boy. My new friends and I all exchange cell numbers and they add me to their group chat, typical girls.
"Seeya Taryn!" they call, making their way out of the cafeteria. I get up to throw away my garbage when someone firmly grabs ahold of my wrist, causing me to drop my plastic salad carton, salad dressing spilling all over, but whoever is holding my arm captive doesn't even seem to notice. I look up and recognize the boy from across the room smirking back down at me. Before I can even so much as blink realizing who it is, he rather roughly backs me up into the table. I've never been in this type of situation before so I remain silent, only letting a small gasp out of my wide open mouth astonished by his strength and forwardness.
"Taryn right? I'm Tommy." He states in a deep, low voice, pinning me to the table with one wrist on each side of me resting on the tabletop. He's acting casual for pinning an innocent girl to the table.
I struggle in his hold to go to class, seeming as it's only us left in the lunch room since everyone else has hurried off by now.
"Oh I wouldn't do that, your mine now, don't bother struggling." Tommy states in a condescending and taunting tone. "As soon as I saw you this morning I knew it, any girl here would love to be in your position right now honey." he leans closer and whispers in my ear, hot breath fanning my neck.
As I continue to squirm his grip only gets tighter, making me let out a whimper and my face twist in agony. "Please," I breathe out.
Seemingly unfazed, the obviously amused boy chuckles into my neck and slowly lets up on his grip. I quickly gather my things and hurry out of the cafeteria, only glancing back to see him leaning against a table shaking his head in what looks to be amusement at me. I scoff and rub my red wrists that are bound to bruise, rushing to get to my next class.

At the end of a quite long and interesting first day, I'm completely worn out. I spent my entire 8th hour asking my new friends on our group chat about Tommy. Why is he so popular if he's such an ass? Of course I didn't tell them about my abusive and terrifing encounter with him. Now I'm putting away some things in what seems to be my locker, which I found written on my schedule. My friends invited me to a party tomorrow night being as it's my first in town, but I'm not sure if I'm going to go. It's being thrown by a supposed 'popular' and Tommy's right hand man, Mitch.
Just as I'm about to shut my locker, I feel myself being overshadowed by someone towering behind me, my breath hitches in my throat. I slowly turn around with my eyes clenched shut praying it isn't who I know it is.
Tommy.
"Hey there beautiful, you coming to my bud Mitch's tomorow?" He flashes is dazzling half smile smirk that I have become all to used to in the small amount of time I've known him. Turns out the ass is in my 7th period advisory, and spent the entire period boring holes into the side of my head with his stares.
"You wish." I state, turning around to fully shut my locker.
"Wrong answer princess." Tommy harshly retailiates. Before I know whats going on he manages to snatch my phone from where I help it in my hand previously, text himself and securely stick it back in the side pocket of my purse.
"I'll pick you up at 7," he leans in for what I realize is a kiss. Thankfully I notice and turn my cheek, leaving him chuckling. This kid is unbelievable. He acts like my boyfriend and then laughs at me like its all a game to him.
