Chapter 8 •Lauren's Pov•

As soon as I got home I straightened my hair and put on my daily makeup routine. I put on a black sweater with my white short short since the bonfire is on the beach. Cameron said he'll pick me up around 5:30 & its 5:20 right now so I'll just go and watch some tv for now. I walked downstairs & find Kristina recording a video of her singing. I walked over and sang along she started laughing & uploaded it to YouTube. Just as I was about to get up from the couch the doorbell rang. I smiled and ran up to the door. I opened it up to Find Cameron in a t-shirt and a pair of sweats. I always found Cameron attractive but when I was with Sam I was a very loyal girl friend. Me & Cameron were best friends when Sam & I were in a relationship. "Hey Lauren you look cute" Cameron speaks up and smiles. I blush lightly. "Thank you Cameron you too I guess" I said smirking. he laughed "alright let's go" and we both said bye to Kristina before I put on my flip flops & grabbed my purse & phone. I locked the door and we walked up to Cameron's car. He opened the passenger door for me and as I hopped in he closed the door after me. He got in and blasted the radio , we both sang along to Worst behavior by Drake. Once we were done singing we finally got to the beach. "Lauren before we go join them , I'm warning you now that Sam brought Britney" Cameron spoke up. "C-can we leave n-now" I stuttered. I can't handle them being here together even knowing that she was the one who broke me & Sam up. "Lauren I'm not taking you home you'll be with me the whole night I promise" Cameron said while kissing my cheek lightly. We both got out of the car & walked over to the bonfire. Once we got to the fire the first person I noticed was Sam. But of course he was on a blanket next to the fire while making out with the one & only Britney. Cam must of noticed also which caused him to wrap his arm tightly around my waist. I looked up at him & he had a smirk on his face. "Ayeee look who we have here" Gilinsky shouts to Cameron & I which caught everyone's attention. Chloe came running over to hug me "Heey" she exclaims with a red solo cup in her hand. obviously been drinking but not enough to be drunk at all. "come get a drink you two" she smiles. We walk over to the cooler and I grab a water bottle. Cam grabs a beer & takes a swig at it before placing his arm back around my waist. We both got seated around the fire along with everyone else. To add to my luck Cam & I were seated across from Sam & Britney. Gilinsky sits down also right beside Chloe. "I say we play Spin the bottle" Gilinsky speaks up while smirking.
